Yes 100%, and I hope we slip him the ball a few more times. It seems nearly every time he gets the ball he was ripping off some decent yardage, and I hope whoever the new coach is realizes the key to winning is to keep using Jones and use Washington even more. We really are blessed in the backfield, now we just need proper play calling.
Not on the football field though. Everybody talks about the OL, but Richardson had just as much to do with Thomas Jones' season as they did.
Richardson made a bigger difference in our running game's success when he was in than did Faneca- and I don't think it's even debatable. If he wants to be back, bring him back.
Answer to your question. Ironically its 2008 season statistics. http://www.nfl.com/players/le'ronmcclain/profile?id=MCC333237
And? Your right, but what does this mean in terms of what Neal means in their run game? McClain is the starting FB on the depth chart but hes used alot at hb.
Im not saying Richardson is a bad option. Im saying resigning him should depend alot on his asking price. If its too high id much rather opt for a more versatile FB/HB type of player like McClain. Especially if TJ and LW are the only rostered RBs.
