He says there's no way he should make it. You heard it hear first...And this guy considers himself an NFL expert! We all know the Jets secondary is poor but if you watch the games then you would know Revis is deserving. Sometimes I want to jump into the TV and sucker punch him in the face with his arrogance. If he says something then he believes it's the 100% truth and nothing else can be told to him or that person is delusional.
i thought there was some female nudity in this thread....that's the only reason why i clicked on the link.
You can't really pay too much attention to these backassward analysists. I guarantee you he probably said something different at some point about Revis. What's even funnier is that most Columnists and Analysists thought it was an outrage that Revis wasn't voted a First Teamer when the results first came out. I'd like to say that atleast 70% of Sportscasters picked him as their first teamer.
Francesa has actually never given credit to Revis all season. People always say Revis has played well and he always shrugs it off and ignores it.
Francesca is a pompous ass. I used to watch and listen to him because I believed he had some genuine football knowledge to go along with that huge ego and huge gut, but I've had it with him. If he doesn't recognize that Revis is an outstanding CB, that he doesn't know the first thing about football.
Francesa often makes good points, but when he's wrong he's dead wrong. This is proof of that. Revis is a top-3 CB in this league. I think those 3 are Asomugha (sp?), Corey Webster, and Revis, in no particular order.
He thinks if the team doesnt have a good pass defense everyone sucks.. probable hasnt even heard of the raiders cb somebody call in and tell the douche off
Perfect example of Francesa's arrogance... A caller just calls up and tells him when the Jets were 8-3 he told Francesa that Pennington is still a better fit for this team. Francesa says he never recalls it! Then he says do you remember me telling you that Pennington has the highest completion % in NFL history(I remember this). Francesa pauses and says...uhh no i don't! Francesa continues to REFUSE that he was wrong! I don't think he has ever admitted he was wrong.
Leads the league in pass deflections. Deflects, on average, 1.7 passes a game. Only thrown on 4.6 times a game, once again on average. Of those only 1.6 are caught. These are numbers from Ralph Vacciano two or three weeks ago. And I might be slightly off on them, but I am fairly certain on the 1.7.
