There is no doubt that a lot of information has surfaced since firing Mangini that shows that Woody and Tennanbaum really screwed this up and perhaps Farve really was a prima donna who would go into his own office after practice instead of studying with the team and would never socialize with the players or would get pissed off when Mangini would discipline him. Mangini might have got screwed but he brought part of it on him for not changing coordinators last year. Rumors are that Woody would not let him do it because Sutton and Shotenhiemer would have to paid, regardless here is how we move on.

Bring in Rex Ryan as head coach and let him bring in his own coaching staff starting with his brother Rob to run the defense. In addition he should pursue a bright offensive coordinator who is someone that will most likely not be offered another head coaching job because he rubs people the wrong way, but if you put him in control of the offense and give him a nice contract, he can build something nice. The name Mike Martz. Have him run the offense.

In addition there is no doubt that Woody loves Tannenbaum for some reason but he is a lawyer who then migrated into overseeing the cap and then moved onto GM because Bill Parcells said he was a good guy. Well as we can all see he needs some people besides Terry Bradway who know football talent and right now there is a guy out there who is a great judge of talent but perhaps does not have the social skills to be a GM and he would be a great pick to be named the head of player personnel and his name is Phil Savage.

Think about it, we would be able to him access to the best up and coming coaches and talent evaluators in other organizations through the networking of Rex Ryan, Rob Ryan, Mike Martz and Phil Savage and then every time we had an opening we would not just have to look to see who New England cut,

In 2001, at the Meadowlands, Martz tried an onside kick when the Rams had a 31-7 lead over the Jets. I never want to see him on the Jets' sideline. Not to mention that he's overrated...

Do you have a twin brother, or a younger brother? How would you feel if he was your boss?

Yeah, losing tends to rub people the wrong way. The dude lost a job with the Lions AND the 49er's, but he's good enough for the Jets?

Thomas Jones made the pro bowl. Brett Favre made the pro bowl. Nick Mangold made the pro bowl. Alan Faneca made the pro bowl. Kris Jenkins made the pro bowl. Darrelle Revis made the pro bowl. Leon Washington made the pro bowl. All of these players were signed to the Jets by Mike Tannenbaum.

BTW, even after the shopping spree, we have a draft pick in every round this year. Likely two in the 2nd if Vilma resigns.

A Mike Martz offense would not compliment a Baltimore style defense.

No this is Woody: I'll look into it and see if Rex will have no problem with me shoving Brett Favre down his throat.

Brett Favre in a Mike Martz run offense? Are you MAD??? Besides Martz being a pompous ass, besides not having the players to fit his systen, besides having to take 2 steps backwards, he hypothetically would get Favre killed.

Unless that is your plan, no thanks.
