    Am I the only person who doesn't understand this love for Housh? The guy is going to cost a fortune. He's good, but he's hardly an all-star. He's about to be a 32-years old, he's not that fast, not that tall, and the only reason he has so many yard is because he's the go-to guy in Cinci. No thanks.

    Housh is one of the most underrated WR's in the league.

    However, as much as I would like him he is more of a possesion WR and he will become 32.

    Well, this is just more shit as he wouldn't talk to Detroit or Cleveland. He informed them immediately that he had no interest in those jobs. He hasn't said that about the Jets job.

    Tom Modrak

    Worked with Bill Cowher in Pittsburgh as the Steelers college scouting director

    Later he moved to the Eagles as director of football operationa under Andy Reid

    Is currently the Bills VP of college scouting and is a holdover from the Tom Donohue era in Buffalo.They worked together in Pitt

    Just my speculation.These guys usually hire people they know and worked with in the past.

    Until Cowher actually comes out and says that he won't coach the Jets, then Schefter can say all he likes, it isn't worth a damm until Cowher confirms it
