They are just as much to blame for the mess of a season as Eric.

I can't imagine why not. I'd like to keep Westhoff. Maybe they're keeping Schotty around so his Dad will consider the HC job?

I think if Schotty is hired, we keep a few guys on staff.
i can see Callahan, and Westhoff being retained, along with Little Schotty.

Why fire them now? They need to find head coach first, then he will decide what to do. It would be another mistake to fire coordinators before giving new HC an opportunity to evaluate them. Woody has made enough disastrous mistakes already, at least he is doing the right thing for this obvious situation.

and if they have an interest in schotty's dad, which i hope they dont, it wouldn't be good to have fired them. but yes new coach will decide if anyone stays.

Not true Tanny said yesterday the ones whose contracts expired after the season will not be resigned unless the new HC wants them. There are a few that Tanny said whose contract have not expired after the season. He did not mention any names in either case

^I think we can agree that they are all polishing up their resumes just in case.

That's my theory. Of course, if our next head coach wants to keep Sutton around I think that's pretty much proof that the Jets made the wrong choice.

I would rather keep Mangini over Schotty or Sutton. They better be gone, or Mangini's firing is an EPIC FAIL.

To add to this, the Jets own their rights as long as they are under contract. Why give up a bargaining position for nothing? No rational businessman would do such a thing.
