Pretty funny...People were saying the same thing after Mangini's first season as well. Look how that turned out.

Personally, I cannot go through another season of him as the OC.

If I have to watch another pass on 3rd and 1, I think I'll be sick.

I don't want Marty. And it's making me very uncomfortable that Brian hasn't been fired yet.

    Sutton too.

Marty is Herm Edwards Sr. He taught him everything he knows about playing not to lose. That would be the end of my season tickets if that man joins the Jets. He is my most hated coach in the world. Not the worst, just takes teams to a certain level and that's it. Will never, ever win a Championship. For the older crowd, he is cut from the Bud Grant/Chuck Knox mold. I would rather have Bob Sutton as my head coach then this guy. Geez, I am really worried if Cowher turns us down. Woody want's an expierenced big name coach so who is left????? They will not hire a coordinator after the Mangini blunder. Its another recycled coach... Fassell.... Mooch.. Shotty.... Billick..... uggghhhh to all. Its Cowher or bust!!!!!!!!!!

He brought 3 teams to an elite level, this franchise has never even sniffed the type of success that Schottenheimer has built over and over again. Herm was never good building teams, Marty is very good at doing that. Other than a brief stint with Parcells for 40 years it has been inconsistency and weak play we really don't have room to say anything if we were never close to the level of some of the Schottenheimer's teams

And you are being hypocritical because Cowher comes directly from the Schottenheimer coaching tree, those two are more alike than most coaches

Has he ever won a Championship game? The answer is no and its a big no because his teams blew games in the big spots. I would rather go 6-10 every year then lose the way Marty teams do... see Browns/Chiefs/Chargers. Cowher has won a super bolw and he is an agressive coach on game day. He is not like Marty and Herm in that sense. Sorry, they are not the same type coaches... no way.
