    god no ---- last thing we need is a spread offense that centers around the deep ball....we have a solid running back, a strong o-line, and only possession receivers...we haveno game breakers that can stretch the field

    Yeah but Brett Favre my like that, and they would get the receivers.

    Scary thought but Favre calls the shots now.

    Favre calls the shots? Favre is washed up and couldn't call the shots for a J.V. High School team. Favre needs to go more than anyone. We need the cap room for his replacement

    This actually made me dribble with laughter a bit. Favre calling the shots? The thought of that washed up old guy dictating the direction your franchise is going is really, really, funny.

    I'd hope that he had absolutely nothing to do with the firing, and that very well could mean he has nothing to do with the hiring. I mean, it's all speculation at this point. There's a very select few that no what the hell is going on that high up and I seriously doubt that they're leaking it already.
