I'm having a hard time swallowing this collapse and angry feeling I have lurking from within. So it very well could be. I am usually a very optimistic guy, no matter what the outcome is. This is just a bit much.

High hopes, we've got, high hopes...

Personally the Doug Brien game was the worst....we were so close to the AFC championship and he couldnt hit one fucking field goal.

The Doug Brien game really killed me; I'm not sure it's the right answer, but I couldn't handle it.

Doug Brien IMO. They were SOOO close. Just a kick away and had two shots at it. It's a damn shame really...

The Doug Brien game. The team had a superbowl feel to it, overachieving defense, decent offense, sound special teams

Is this really that disappointing? Honestly? We were 4-12 last and the expectations were very low this year. We suck on almost every level of the game, the playoff lost to Pittsburgh is one million times more painful.

Even if we won today, we wouldn't have made the playoffs, tough year to get in. Imagine being the Pats right now?

Plus Broncos and Bucs collapse, wow.

Doug Brien - happened on my birthday, and I absolutely loved the Jets team that year. Was really hoping they'd pull off something special.

The Brien misses and the Gastineau game are equally gut wrenching

Gastineau. I was 12 years old and still scarred from it.

But Shaun Ellis was such a BEAST those last 8-10 games. I'll never forget that.

The brien miss has to be it, it took along time to get over it because the jets were playing so well and outplayed pittsburgh in that game.

Personally I'd go with the Brien misses, but I tried to look at them impartially (since I wasn't alive/aware for all of them) and I went with the Fake Spike fallout.
