I had a dream last night that the Patriots lost, and it was a complete slaughter house in the Meadowlands. 40-6 Jets. Probably my best dream in the last few weeks.
If we don't make the playoffs I don't care who wins the div. You ALWAYS root for your team to win. I would like to meet some of u so called fans and kick the crap out of you

It would be interesting to note that with the outcome of the Pats Bills game be known just about at kickoff time and realizing that, will the emotion and competitiveness of he fans and players alike, be severely deflated? How many fans will even show up, if the Pats winning outcome was pretty much a given before 2-3pm?
I will 100% root for the JETS. I have said before that if Chad beats us for the division crown, I will say congrats and raise my glass to an early exit from the postseason. Do I want the Pats in? Of course not. I do not see the logic in rooting for the other team. You won't have the last laugh over the other teams fans unless you beat them the last time you play them. We can laugh at the Pats right now because we did beat them. We can even laugh at Titan fans because we ruined their perfect season. What hurts is that we can't say anything to the Raider, Bronco, Seahawk, Charger, 49er fans. The schedule doesn't look any better next year, so lets root for a good finish to what should have been a great year.

My head says the Dolphins but every year this jackass season ticket holder a couple rows in front of where I sit brings the most obnoxious Dolphins fan that has ever lived to the game. I'm sure after about 5 minutes of listening to this guy I'd be rooting for the Jets again.
This is the stupidest thing I have ever seen. The Jets can still make the playoffs if they beat the 'fins and the Ravens lose. The Jags/Ravens game is also at 4:15 pm. The Jags are capable of beating the Ravens!!!! So why the heck would a Jets fan NOT root for the Jets at this point, no matter wht the Putriots do? People--get your collective heads out of your butts and ROOT FOR THE JETS ON SUNDAY!!!!
sounds like you need to get over this belicheat obsession. belicheat is a good coach, deal w/it. but no way, under any circumstances do you root for a div. rival, to win the div. at our house, w/our ex starting qb.
i understand the love and the respect for chad, but he plays for a div. rival now, and in this situation you cannot root for him to win.
This is a no-brainer. While I hate the Patriots a bit more than I hate the Dolphins, I have to root for the Jets to defeat the Dolphins and keep them from the postseason. The Jets would knock a division rival from a playoff spot. So the Patriots make it. Big deal. Like we haven't seen that before. They might win a game. Like we haven't seen that before. C'mon! They're not making it to the Super Bowl. The Steelers or Titans will see to that. And you can fault the Jets for the Patriots (possibly) making the playoffs. Had the Jets beaten any of the crappy Pacific coast teams, they'd be ahead of the Patriots right now and would knock those bastards out, too.
