Since several of us want an animated and emotional HC that exudes passion on the sidelines I say we give The Jim a go.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vL_x8TG_ZPY

Guy even runs wind sprints on the field before the game to get fired up... The only problem is he'd have to pull that move shown at 1:04 after almost ever Jets play on defense.

And since there are a lot of people on here allergic to fun... No, I'm not being serious so chill.

USF is one of the highest penalized teams in the NCAA

Great clip, great emotion, no NFL experience. Handling college kids and handling pros are two different things and if he hasn't seen it before than he won't know how to do it.

that rah rah shit might work in college but in the pros, they will laugh at you. There is a reason why more vocal, pump you up guys, college coaches dont work in the pros. You need a level headed, fair guy that prepares the right gameplans.

Jimmy Johnson, Tom Coughlin, Steve Mariucci ..a few guys who made it work..But they are not rah-rah guys.

I think JJ had a degree in psychology or something similar. He was a great motivator.

That guy looks like the result of an unholy union between Bill Cowher and Pete Carroll.

I know there is way more to the equation that going nuts on the sidelines I just love watching USF games cause of this guy. He always seems really level headed and calm during the press conferences though, which is weird cause you'd expect him to pull a Dennis Green after every game.

Man, what I wouldn't give to see LC come off the field after last week's crucial drop and see ol' Jim unleash his unholy terror...

Holy shit, if Woody is looking to replace mangini with an opposite coach, this is his guy...

Jim Fassel should be the next coach of the Jets.

Thats such a stretch? This team has had people from the 6 of the last seven coaches this team has had are a joke. Coslet, Carrol, Kotite, Groh, Edwards and Mangini. Fassel has two former assistants as head coaches (Payton and Fox) and Jason Garrett is on his way to become a head coach in the NFL. How many Herm Edwards assistants are Head Coaches?

Jason Garrett has blown as many chunks as Schott has this year. The same complaints we have about Schott are the same complaints Cowboys have about Garrett.

Fassel isn't a bad candidate though. I really liked him as the Giants HC, and he's yet another coach who got the shit end of the stick from the NYC media and fans...kind of like Mangini.
