It's not so much who are keepers. There are plenty of holes on this team that need filling, but you have to wonder what players could be good role-players when used consistently to the best of their abilities. No Super Bowl team is filled with elite players, they have a few core leader-type players that are elite, a number of good ones that play with clutch ability, and a number more that are good role-player types.

I think we have been whiffing on our decisions in the defensive secondary, but you have to wonder how much of our glaring holes could be fixed by excellent position coaches. Same with the front 7.

Your definition of 'keeper' is so black and white it hardly relates to realistically building an NFL football team, so me listing a number of 'keepers' won't even make sense to you.

Bingo. That's Champ's main problem. A keeper has to be a Pro Bowl caliber player.

If you are willing to sluff it off to coaching so be it but my HO is ypu are totally incorrect as we have many, many players that have little or no talent which iis why we are what we are & what we have been for the last 40 years or so

I'm just happy that Champ seems to have changed his mind on D'Brick.

No it has to be a player who has at least some ability & instincts that allow him to make a play here or there. Sorry to say we do not have many of those quality players because if we had we would not be where we are now

What is it about 'There are plenty of holes on this team that need filling' did you not understand?

Every team has holes in their lineup.

Unless you have the 2007 Patriots offense and the 1985 Bears defense. You have to keep working.

I always said Brick was NOT A DOMINANT LT but was serviceable. I also was only quoting what Golic said about him when we drafted him 4th overall. That sack he gave up in Seattle certainly did not aid us in that game now did it? Sorry to say for the 4th overall pick he is a failure however if say a 2nd or 3rd pick you would be getting exactly what he is delivering

So you are saying we should cut Kris Jenkins, Alan Fanaca, Jericho Cotchery, Shaun Ellis, Calvin Pace, Tony Richardson, Ty Law, All of our young prospects like Ratliff, Ainge, Clowney, Mason, etc.?

On a positive note, you can still redeem yourself by revealing that you are actually only 9 years old.

Your posts make no sense ?!?!?!?! Are you saying that everyone should be cut "besides" the starters? If that was the assumption, why did you include players like Rhodes and Thomas Jones on your list?

You have no valid point and are trying to mask it with confusion.

And NO it is not obvious that you want to keep all the starters when you say the following...

Somebody please fill me in and tell me if I am arguing with a "special" person. I would feel horrible if I was and didn't realize it.
