That's just not right! Every year this team does this to us and next year will be no different. A thread exactly like this one will come out chastising all of those who voice their opinion. Many will go over board and others will just sit with their disgust. There is still a scenario to victory and Just like every year , we will be taking the hardest road fought. If we ultimately win this thing then all of those who said they were abandoning ship will ask for a life preserver. My apologies to the OP but you are dead wrong. I went to my first Jet game in 1975 at Shea. I have bled Jet green for the last 33 years and suffered many devasting blows. But there is only so much any man can take. If you wife cheats on you , you may forgive her once but time and time again. I moved to NC in 2002 kept my season tickets and traveled to NJ at least twice a year to watch this team. So Please do not try to call me a fair weather, bandwagon or true fan. I have one Christmas tree in my house that is only Jet ornaments. I have Directv and never miss a single game. I planned my wedding around the Jets Bye week so I wouldn't miss a game on our honeymoon. I told my wife from the very beginning I do not do drugs, I do not drink, I do not gamble, I will not cheat. My only vice is the Jets 3 hours a Sunday 16 weeks a year or (48 hours year plus playoffs). So please do not question me as a true fan. But I AM DONE!!! I am giving up my seats and I am investing in Carolina Panthers seats , they are my new team.

Yes but if I am going to switch allegiances , I will root for my new local team , one that has a hell of alot better Home Field Fanbase than the Jets (I know I have been to both Stadiums Many times). last nights game won't sway me , becuase at least this team as a direction, identity and is well run, unlike the bozo's Ive wasted 35 years on. I will still root for the Jets if they make the playoffs as my Pantthers are NFC but I will not be giving them my lifeblood weel in and week out.
With John Fox as the HC, you have a good chance not to see continued fuck up after fuck up. He is a talented coach who will give you good seasons and bad ones, but you will know what they are before hand... there will be no utter heartbreak the way the Jets do it. Have fun. I never said I'm changing to a Giants fan, or cheering for the Dolphins, not once. I jsut want all the coaching staff except callahan and westhoff to GO, and Favre to just leave in the sun.
What I want is this CS and FO to get their asses fired. A loss maximizes those chances. A win and making the playoffs kills them. Yes, the Favre trade and Chad flush was a mistake. Yes, I will cheer for Chad all the way. I do not apologize. This organization is a ship of fools that needs to be sunk ASAP. And I'm not so insecure that I'll be crushed if members of this board don't think I'm a "real Jets fan." What are the Jets anyway? What do I pledge my loyalty to? A bunch of players that could be playing anywhere else next year? Eric Mangini and Mike Tannenbaum? Woody Johnson? The state of New Jersey?
