Basically, the Jets need to play like there's no tomorrow because, there's no tomorrow. Bring the house on obvious passing downs no matter what Sutton dials up.

    1. On offense, Feed Jones the ball early and often so he can win the AFC rushing title.
    2. Put Farve back into 3 step drops.
    3. Deactivate Franks, Nugent.
    4. Play Stuckey, Clowney
    5. Get Leon Washington involved.
    6. Play with some fckn pride for once in the last game of the season AT HOME.

Maybe Mangini could call Belichek and get a game plan to beat the Phins. Jets are a better team depending on how the gunslinger plays. He plays well, Jets win. He plays like he did against Seattle, season over.

It's obvious what we need to do.

Stop giving 10 yd cushions in the secondary. Chuck the WR's at the line...blitz, blitz, blitz. 8 in the box Challenge Chad all day.

On offense we need to send keller down the middle deep all day. 15-20 yd routes. Use BOTH RB's including Leon at least 30 carries between them. Run some sweeps, attack the edges. Maybe a trick play or two depending on the weather of course. Do not abandon the run. Keep the dolphins offense off the field. Keep our Defense fresh.

We just lost to an offense line that was basically a practice squad! Also a 2nd string QB and a small defensive line and LBs. Its over! BRING IN COWLER!

Captain Intangibles has to play better than Noodle Arm.

    Simple. They won't. Period.

    ---------------------------------------------------------

They couldn't even touch Seneca Wallace. SENECA WALLACE!!!!!!!!

Do that to Pennington and watch how he picks this D apart. To his credit, he had absolutely no time behind the road-pylon of OL last year. This year, he's getting ample time. Let's see how he changed.

I see real pain for Pennington in this game. All of the frustration this team must have by now should all be directed right at him. Especially with the media hyping up the pay back bullshit. They should be just about ready to kill him when the kickoff comes.

That's why we are going to get a big dose of Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams to soften us up before Pennington starts carving the Christmas Turkey.

This should be a great day in Jets history a chance to take out both our divisional rivals win the division and get a home playoff game. I can't tell you how outright depressed I was when I realized we were playing another uninspired game, being outcoached and outclassed by a mediocre team with nothing on the line.

One of the things I used to love about sports is the pride and determination of players living for those kind of opportunities. I just got the feeling if the team doesn't give a shit why should I?

I agree. I'd rather lose at the hands of the NE Patriots and go down swinging. But the freakin' 3-11 Seahawks with nothing on the line? Come on!

Maybe this time on when it is 3rd and 3 and you plan on going for it on 4th we will run twice and pick up the first down prolonging the drive. Maybe we will attempt the 50yd FG after he just nailed one from 45 with 15 yards to spare. Perhaps we will blitz to make the QB make a decision and to not leave the mediocre secondary out-to-dry.

Other than that, we just need to score more points.

You make it sound like they have a CS that actually thinks about a strategy and comes out with a gameplan.

    Must be nice...

We can beat the Phins because we own the Phins. Thats really the only reason I could think of. They havent shown you anything to make you think they can beat them but they always do.

I would love to spoil the Dolphin fans fun by beating them and knocking them out of the playoffs. The Pats can have the division. I wanna knock the Dolphins out.

I'll tell you this much. It will be a close game, for a couple of reasons.

    1) Even when we suck ass, we generally play to the level of our competition.

    2) In general, Jets/Phins games are hard fought games

    3) Chad generally doesn't do blowouts

    4) The Dolphins have one big win all season (meaning they won by 14+) the first NE game.

It'll be close, and who knows, we could win. But with our sputtering offense, floundering run D, and complete incapability of covering RBs and TEs, we could be in for a long day.

Easy! The Jets, all season, have been matching their competition. They play shitty against shitty teams and play good against good teams. Thus, once again this week they will match their competition.
