Some of the posts here are absurd. I could be the first to say "I told you so," but what would that accomplish? The Jets can still get in. No true fan is going to root for them to lose (unless of course the Patriots win before the Jets game is over) next week. I don't know how anyone can be a Jet fan and toss it in when it only takes one loss and one win to get in. I know the team doesn't look good, but there's always a chance.
I don't want to see this team embarrass themselves in the playoffs. Fortunately I am personally guaranteeing a Jets week 17 loss so many of us won't have to suffer through the bullshit.
After watching the Jets all these years, it's simply safer to expect the worst and be surprised if it comes out good, than to go in with high hopes and get crushed.
The chances are so slim, and we obviously been let down many times before. It's just not worth the effort to root for the jets.
why even try for the playoffs?? we know we have a less than able CS. we'd just get tortured. why even bother with the playoffs. if we dont make the playoffs, we give GB a 3rd round pick. if we do, its a 2nd.
