All year this guy has had the case of the drops. He had a few today. None bigger than the last one to lose the game.
A game against a bottom-cellar team with no O-Line should not have come down to a single bomb to Coles in double coverage.
Iunno if this is serious...but I was going to say the same thing. Mangini and Schotty can't even coach Favre to let go of the fucking ball or coach up Coles' ability to catch the football. They've wasted so much because of stupid things like this.

Our HOF QB leads us to THREE points and it's Coles fault for dropping a pass on 4th and 4 thrown 40 yards downfield into double coverage. Seattle has averaged giving up 25 PPG this year, only twice this year(prior to today) hads they given up fewer than 20 points and we scored THREE on them!
That wasn't a drop, it was a tough catch. The problem I have with that throw is throwing it 40 yards down field on a 4th and 4 when the games on the line.
your favorite player is why the jets were losing. it is somewhat ironic that the one good pass he threw all game resulted in a drop that ended the season, but one good throw doesn't erase a month of awful performances.

perfectly legitimate thread. Coles is an absolute discgrace. Yes Mangini should be fored. Yes, Favre is the most overrated player in the history of sports. Meh, mostly because Favre's picks didn't really cost the jets that many games, if you look at it honestly. Even today, that one int int he first half didn't really cost the game, and the last one here to end it was just throw and pray time. Favre has had some bad throws, many. He had bad throws last year. The big thing was last year, when he threw good balls, they were almost always caught. Take that pass on 4th down to coles. Last year, in GB, that ball gets caught. I wont make any excuses, Favre didn't play well of late, but man how much can you pin on him? Better coachign staff has this team locked up in the playoffs two weeks ago. I mean, there has been horrible coaching, and inconsistent play on both sides of the ball all year long. Favre wasn't a waste to get, it was a waste to get him when your not willing to change the culture of how your team plays football. Sutton, Mangini, the OC (whoever he is), needs to go. Favre or no favre next year, you wont be winning any SB's with this staff.
You gotta be kidding me. They have lost to all these teams they should have beaten like the 9ers, Raiders, and Hawks. In none of these games the team was prepared. They started this game hot hitting on all cylinder but fell flat on their face. It seems like Mangini just lets Favre call plays on the sand/snow and goes from there. These routes the players are running are so freakin simple. I don't know how Favre doesn't have more INT's given the type of offense he is working in. They have played marginal all season long. Mangini is a douchebag tool who should never be able to coach in the NFL again.

This game is NOT on Coles. Are you serious??? Favre was horrible today So was Mangini and Shotty and Sutton. Everytime Coles was making a catch , someone was on him or the pass was off.... To pin this on him is ludicrous and total hatred!!
Unless he holds onto the ball...which is what he's paid to do...then the call is genius. Hindsight analysis...the complaining junkies #1 drug.
I think they were prepared they start all of these games well and then they hit a bump in the road and they start throwing from shotgun every play. Why is it always the coaches fault? Are you gonna give a pass to Favre, Coles, the horrible pass blocking and the crappy run defense?
