A couple of years ago I played on a team that had one of the nastiest RB's in the league. Guy was a big time juke/cutback runner and shook a lot of people out of there shoes. In the semi-final game the field conditions were muddy as hell and it pretty much rendered him useless because every time he went to cut/juke he just slipped and the defenders were able to stop him in his tracks.

Unfortunately our offense revolved around him and we ended up getting crushed. Couldn't score points.

Bad weather - not cold, but rain, snow, wetness, mud etc. is the great equalizer. It neutralizes speed and strength and adds a slippery ball and a level of unpredictability to the game. This weather does not help the Jets, IMO.

And, since we already play down to the level of the team were playing, the weather may just make us look like a high school junior varsity team.
But i'm being optomistic that were gonna play like we got a pair this week.

Yeah, I've played in mud and I know what you're talking about. If it gets real slippery, all bets are off and it really neutralizes everything, including Washington.

I'm just hoping there's enough "grip" left in that field out there to give us a slight edge. Appreciate your input though and let's hope we're still able to get it done.

Could be a low-scoring game if it gets real bad.

The bad weather will hurt our production on offense, but really there is no good excuse why our defense shouldn't destroy a backup qb with backup o-linemen in crappy weather. Our D needs to wake the hell up and dominate them with sacks, turnovers, and points early and often.

The Seahawks usually play real close games. There isn't a lot of domination going on. Hopefully the snow neutralizes Seneca Wallace's scrambling a bit.

Wow, I didnt even think of that. With the snow coming hard, he will have to rely heavily on his ability to pass. That makes me more at ease.

This is Jets football. But the last game they played in the snow/sleet/rain they lost to Denver and didnt play well. Time to change that. Lets go Jets.

I gotta tell ya, i woke up today with a really good feeling about this game. Weather or no weather, something says we put up some points and dominate today.

I have the opposite feeling but, of course, I'm hoping for a win.

I just heard a passing comment on the Sunday Ticket Redzone Channel that the Jets were were "snowed in for 5 hours". I am assuming that is related to their flight into Seattle. I had thought that they were traveling on Friday, but maybe they flew yesterday.
