your whole post was a joke man. here is your evaluation of our team:

this is a team with no pass D,

weak WR and rookie TE who shows signs and a decent journeyman

-running back who has run well when their are huge holes and gets nothing in short yardage situations.
    -------------------------

Last I checked our running game has the highest yard per carry in the league.

Our TE is as good a reciever as most TEs in the league.

And our pass defense was exceptional agasint Tenn, a win you clearly attribute completly to brett favre.

Owned rofl. And they he goes on and defends it. You clearly stated that you would rather lose with a player you like, Pennington, then win with a guy you hate, Favre. I guess my friend you have probably been one of the most excited Jet fans over the past 6 years. Cause Penny sure did a lot of losing

    back to the topic.

I'm not going to put a lot of starch into what Favre says about his playing status till the spring time. I say "spring time" because I hope Favre will be gracious enough to tell the FO before the draft...in case we need to address the QB position in an earlier round of the draft.

Favre will be back next season unless we win the SB then again he may still comeback. He loves to play the game.

Our TE is a rookie who was none existent early in the year, has dropped TD passes, first down passes and is a highly talented player who has been very up and down.

If you think this team runs the ball better than the 04 team, go back and look at the amount of carries the 04 team had. This team breaks runs because it's a pass first team that uses the passing game to set up the running game. The 04 team was a structured running team the QB was a game manager, we ran on all downs to control tempo, clock, field position. This team does the exact opposite. Whenever we try to control tempo, clock or field position with the running game it's stopped in its tracks.

Favre was outright great against Buffalo, NE and TN not to mention against AZ. That was a stretch of games that put us in position to control our destiny. Our D is bad look it up the 04 D was good look it up.

I don't attribute any of our wins solely to Brett Favre but I do believe he was a big contributor on the field and a leader and a prime reason we had that stretch. You on the other hand are simply hating on Favre because your love sick for Chad. I felt the same way when Joe went to the Rams. Lossing your first love is always hard. It gets easier Ouchy.

I think that's the thing that really pissed Green Bay off. It's too late for that kind of nonsense going into the spring time. Teams need to take a direction.

I personally don't see Tannenbaum letting himself be jerked off that way either. You're either in or out. Let us know and let's not have the sideshow.

My "first love" was Joe also.

Maybe, just maybe, people say things about favre because he keeps fading when we need him to make a play.
Favre fans can forgive his poor play. Jet fans cant.

that's the ideal situation..i agree with that.

But this is Favre....and i have a feeling he's going to "hee and haw" again...taking his time....it seems to be his new "offseason mantra".

I hope Tanny doesn't put up with it either....a simple yes or no is all that's required from Favre. :)

The best case scenario is a yes or no.

The worst case scenario is indecision and vacilation. But even that won't be a problem, IMO, because neither Mangini nor Tannenbaum will put up with that. They're not about to be held hostage to the post-season antics. "Brett, you have until February 15th to let us know."

A "maybe" from Favre will be the same as a "no."

No decision is a decision, if that's what it comes to, and we'll move on.

I think that's the best approach also....there's no need to drag it out longer than it has to.
