If they can catch this guy... Here's a quote from an article: PLENTY IN RESERVE: For the eighth time in 15 games, the Jets will face a quarterback who began the season on the bench. Seneca Wallace will start for the injured Matt Hasselbeck (back), Mike Holmgren confirmed. Wallace's elusiveness could pose problems for the Jets, who have struggled against mobile quarterbacks. The Seahawks also probably will be without their entire starting offensive line.
When a team is without its entire starting offensive line, it gives you hope that even Sutton's 3-man rushes might get to the QB.
The Jets always plays to the level of the competition so, don't get overconfident. This game will be another deathmatch to the end..
I would think pactice for the D this week centered heavily on Brad Smith with a RED jersey on imitating Seneca Wallace. They should have designed blitz packages based on the Seahawks O line and apparent weakness. At least this is presumably what went on if we have coaches that can coach.
With one of those sacks coming when he gets tripped as he's pulling away from center by one of his OLmen
Or does this mean that Sutton is going to rely on the 1-2-8 scheme that he featured in the last play against Buffalo?
Being that the Seahawks o-line is in such bad shape, Sutton will use this opportunity to test out his master scheme that he's been waiting to bust out all season... THE COVER TEN!! Only CJ Mosley will rush the passer, if and when he gets on the field for relief duty.
