I think this is somewhat overblown, Tyler Thigpen is a good QB, Matt Cassel is a good QB, Losman used to be a starter and Fitzpatrick did okay for a backup. Losing to the Raiders was more embarrassing than letting Thigpen and Cassel have big games.
No, it's not overblown. Cassel has been solid overall this season but Thigpen, Fitzpatrick, and Losman are fucking awful and we made them looks like pro bowlers.
According to today's paper, Kris Jenkins says he feels better after having "personal issues" in the last two games. His hip has been bothering him and he was on limited practice this week (read: given some time off to rest). It sounds like he's fine now (even said so), so I expect him to be on top of his game. And because as Kris Jenkins goes, so goes the defense, I see the Jets dominating this game and kicking ass. Much fewer mistakes, fewer penalties, better tackling, good ball control, good balanced attacks, etc. Jets 41 - Seattle 16
I gotta disagree with you about Thigpen. They guy has been pretty solid even without a real team around him. Im not saying he is great but better than your giving him credit for. Loserman and Fitz are terrible though i agree with you there. Shaun Hill had a solid game against us too.

You sir are high as a kite. Thigpen is FAR from awful. He has thrown for 15 TD's in 12 games, has rushed for 2 TD's and caught a TD. As far as making Fitzpatrick and Losman look like pro bowlers? Lets examine: week 6: CIN @ NYJ Fitzpatrick: 20-33 for 152 yds. 0 TD's 0 INT's, 1 rush TD. week 15: BUF @ NYJ Losman: 24-39 for 148 yds. 1 TD 3 INT's, 1 rush TD. The only conclusion I can draw from your statement is that you either have the lowest standards for "Pro Bowl" play in the history of mankind, or you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
thats the best news i've heard all day. pouha doesn't look bad in spot relief this season but i still wouldn't mind if he drafted another nose tackle just for insurance. as u say as jenk goes so goes the D.
although jenkins got blown up on a couple plays, i noticed the last two weeks theyve been subbing pouha in ALOT more. which explains partly to the decline of the d, the rest is all coaching. the lack of adjustments this team makes amazes me. jenkins two weeks ago said put that loss on me, now hes saying hes feeling better and ready to go. ill take his word. i love lunchbox, even got his jersey. but yes i expect jenkins to be collapsing the pocket and forcing seneca wallace out which could be good or bad depending on how our CBs/LBers are doin.
i too have him on my starting roster for my championship game even though i drafted shockey (bum). I hope he puts up some big numbers as long we win the game. God hates the Jets and me so i'm sure neither will happen. $310 (2nd place) over $750 (1st place). If i win, I could use the loot to buy lots of tissues and beer for our game with the fins.
the problem is most of us dont watch other teams play that much, and we sure dont watch the chiefs or bengals if we are catching a game that doesn't involve the jets. so people look at stats decide someone is awful and get a mental picture of what they person should play like. as the stats show neither player was very effective against the jets, but they managed to have marginal success against the defense. even that marginal success goes against the mental picture that most fans get when simply checking out other players stats. also people just like to bitch for bitchings sake.
