I was just offered great Giants tickets for this weekend w/ a parking pass. However, I really want to watch the Jets game this weekend. I have a friend who has never seen a Giants game who wants to go really bad and I would feel bad passing them up because of him. The Giants game is at 8:15 and the Jets are at 4:05. I'm guessing I would not see much of the Jets game and would have to listen to it on the radio unless there is a way to watch games at the stadium. What would you guys do?

Give both seats to your buddy, buy a 6 pack and some wings, and watch the Jets

I wish I could do that. But I would have to go just based on the relationship I have with the person who gave them to me.

go to the giants and tape/tivo the jets? I've done that for Packers games this year.

in all seriousness ... friendship is more important than time shifting a football game a few hours.

Drop your friend off at the game and watch the Jets game at a nearby sports bar. Meet your friend at the Giants game late. If your friend doesn't like that, tell him he's just gonna have to deal with showing up late.

Yeah I'd go see the game with your friend. You'll probably feel better about yourself doing that too.

The way this team has been playing it might be better if you're not home to experience the potential heartbreak and frustration of the Jets losing to Seattle (But this week will be different I think/hope).

Panthers-Giants is a huge game. Go for it! You will be able to keep up with the Jets game somehow before 8:15 kickoff.

You could be going to the NFC Championship Preview. Go for it!

You can still watch the Jets beat Miami and be crowned AFC East champs next week.

This is exactly what I would do. (Although I would hate to hear about what happened in the Jet game before I got a chance to watch it myself)

I have a similar dilema. My friend has invited me to a Capitals-MapeLeafs game the same day as Dolphins-Jets. The seats are center ice, 10 rows from the ice. Perfect view. However, Jets-Phins is scheduled for 1:00 and the game is at 7:00 so I could easily do both. But if it is FLEXED, like I expect, I will be skipping this Caps game with no regrets. haha.

I just took the tickets. My friend is so excited to go and its not like i'll miss the game all together. I've got radio and maybe I can find a portable tv or something to watch the game on since it will be over before the Giants game starts.

    No, no.

Broadway Brets right. Go back and look at post # 5 again. It's the only way to go. You do both.

Yeah, when I told my friend he was through the roof happy. I'll find a way to follow the Jets game via radio or maybe I can find some guys with direct tv at the stadium. Who knows. I'll figure it out.

Found out that they are in the mezzanine. Quick question, Are all mezzanine seats under cover in case of bad weather. I heard the weather is going to suck Sunday night.

Mezzanine seats are the best seats in the house IMO

I'm not familiar with the area, but is there no where remotely close to the stadium where you can go watch the Jets game. The game should be over by 7 or 7:30, so you could then hop on over to the Giants game.

Honestly, I don't know. I'm also underage so a sports bar is kinda hard.
