poor guy put in 20 years and did a very very good job for most of it and in walks sperm edwards to ruin his career. shit after 20 years he ruined his life!

naturally herm is still talking the ole schtick, young team build through the draft, getting better the last month... it just never ends with that human turd. i hope he DOES get fired and never gets a job coaching football again. i wouldnt even want him to be a high school coach as kids deserve better.

i wouldnt wish him on my worst enemy. god i hate that man with a passion!

Won't keeping Herm around another year just leave the team in even worse condition for the next coach?

Ok wait, there is no way Herm is responsible for Carl's 18 years of failure. Did Vermeil, Schottenheimer, and Gun fuck it up for him too? Herm inherited a busted team, you know--the one Carl built! Herm has no players to work with and is essentially shooting the moon with a BB gun.

My gut tells me that Herm probably will survive and be back next year.

The funny (or is it tragic) thing here is that Herm has a better chance of getting some sort of NFL job than Mangini does once he is fired. The majority of Mangini's experience before coming here was as a ballboy. He never did anything else for more than a year or two. Add to that how much he is disliked and I can't see him working in the NFL at all. The fact he has no college experience that I am aware of rules that out too.

Lies. But then, that's usually all you have. BTW, there have been plenty of college coaches who attained a ton of success in the NCAA who couldn't wipe their own ass in the pros.

Don said Mangini "never did anything else for more than a year or two". The Wikipedia articles describes exactly that. Only one job Mangini had was for more than 2 years. All of the other positions were short - 1 or 2 years. And Mangini neither played nor coached D-I football. He has only worked for one coach - BB - for his entire NFL career.

Don is right on the money. Mangini likely would not get a HC position if he were fired. In fact he might not even get an assistant's job.

That seems to say exactly what I said although it doesn't list the total number of years he was the ball boy. It says he was a DC for 1 year and a quality control/assistant for 3. What is wrong? Oh, I get it you think he wants to be a quality control/ assistant defensive coach again. Maybe.

As far as your take on college, wtf are you talking about? We are talking here about Mangini's college experience..get it?

Doesn't really matter, he will become unemployable.

That's 2 people that can't read. Or count, for that matter. BTW, his lack of college experience has no relevance. Tell me about Bill Belichick's college coaching experience. Get it? Of course you don't. You can't even read. Or count.

ummmmmmmmmmmm, ok......... the point is that he didnt fail for 18 years, he was actually quite successful for many of those years.

ok we will start from 89

    8 7 1
    11 5
    10 6
    10 6
    11 5
    9 7
    13 3
    9 7
    13 3
    7 9
    9 7
    7 9
    6 10
    8 8
    13 3
    7 9
    10 6

average record 9.47 wins 6.47 losses on very bad year at 6-10 and 4 years 11 - 5 or better. if you would like i can go ahead and take a look at what our beloved jets have done in that same period... yeah i didnt think so. really the entire 90s his teams were a force to be reckoned with. sure they never won the big game but they were consistently one of the toughest teams year in and year out.

herm took what was a very successful aging team and pile drove it directly into the ground. he didnt even bother to have one good year. face it he has been there for 3 years and the team has gotten progressively worse EVERY YEAR. now all of a sudden herm starts preaching his build through the draft bullshit this past offseason because even he can see he screwed the pooch.

are you going to tell me that spermy didnt know what he was getting himself into when he decided to go to kc? if i remember correctly HE decided to GO to KC? did he not see the writing on the wall that it was an aging team? did he bother to do anything about it in his first 2 years? nope and neither did "Carl"

bottom line is the guy was pretty damn successful for quite some time and in walked spermy and all of a sudden carl peterson all of a sudden becomes retarded? i think the retarded thing he did was bringing in ole spermy. fact is since peterson has been there they have never had a record under 6-10 and they have a well above .500 record in that time. in the past 2 years herm has won 4 and now a max of 4.... quite a bit worse than carl peterson has ever done in the past with all of those wonderful coaches. oh wait thats right they didnt fuck it up for him they had a good product on the field just about every year.
