That was just bad luck, the throw wasn't terrible but it wasn't good either. It was slightly behind Coles and it was a rocket. It was a difficult pass to catch. The bounce was just bad luck.
Not blaming Coles and surely not Favre on that one .... it was one of those unlucky bounces ... Pass was fine, The helmet to the ball would make most any receiver cough it up ...
If Coles doesn't jump the ball isn't expossed to the defender. Terrible habit of his and no need for it on that ball.
He must have learned it from Johnny "Lam" Jones. He jumped up for EVERY ball he caught over the middle.
