With the Pitts win today we may have received a big break if we win out and make the playoffs. If Pitts wins next week vs. Tenn. we would most likely play either the Patriots or Ravens at home. No doubt it will be a tough game but one that if we get our game back in all three aspects we can win. If we do and Ind. beats Denver, we would then play Tenn. in round 2 and we should be able to beat them. Then, if Ind. beats Pitts. which is very possible, we could have a home game for the AFC Championship.
i hate talking playoffs with 2 weeks left. We'll have plenty of time to do that if we continue to take care of business
the Colts are the only team in the playoffs that are similarly inconsistent. But they are no where as inconsistent.
Is there not a rule that a division winner cannot play a wild card team from its own division in the first round? There used to be. That is, no matter what, if the jets win the division, they will not play NE or MIA in the first round.
Really? Did you watch the colts as they barely beat the winless lions? OR watch as teh Ravens only put 9 points on the board? We still put 31 on the board. Meh. We have no defense, but the ravens still have no offense, and the colts are just like us: No Defense.
whoa whoa lets calm down... the Colts would do what Denver did. Now maybe if the Jets limit turnovers, they have a chance. But Manning in the playoffs is no safe bet And the Ravens defense??????? You expect the Jets to beat that monster?? Don't worry about Flacco putting up 9 against PIT. Pitt has the best defense in the league.... your post was uninformed, sir.
how about we first get into the playoffs before we start talking about who we can beat in the playoffs and who we would rather matchup against. We could be hosting a playoff game or sitting at home watching. With the way we are playing right now it doesn't appear that we even belong in the playoffs.
