The Coles INT wasn't that bad of a throw. a little behind him but that's all. he didn't have to jump for it, but coles does that a lot so that he can catch it with his body and not his hands.

edit: just rewatched that throw. not a bad throw by any means. it still hit him right in his body.

in the second INT he had Leon wide open to the left in the flat, if Leon get it no one was even close, he runs for 25 yard

Well if he doesn't jump he has to catch it in his armpit.

Exactly. I love how Chad fans ignore facts like how the Miami offense has scored 14, 16 and 14 points in the past 3 games. And the Miami defense has not given up a TD in teh past three weeks, I think they've allowed a total of 15 points in the past three weeks. We give up that much in ONE half.

If the Jets win, its the defense and Favre was average. If the Dolphins win, it was the greatness of Chad and the defense is an afterthought.

You can't just compare situations like that. One guy has a defense that has allowed no TD's in the past 3 weeks. The other has a defense that can't even tackle at this point.

Favre has not played great in the past 3 weeks but enough of these threads and posts that Favre sucks or we should have kept Chad, etc. We're 9-5! And I love these "if you eliminate the Arizona game" posts. Bottom line that game happened and Favre was a big reason we won that game.

Chad does not have a game like Arizona or NE in him IMO. But thats just my opinion, maybe I'll be proven wrong. IMO Chad will never win a Super Bowl whereas Favre gives you that chance if he gets hot. I'd rather be a lion for a day than a lamb that lives forever.

Thats because you give all the credit to our QB.

I think Chad could have handed the ball off as well as favre.

BTW - chad got two TD's on 19 pass atempts and set the dolphins consecutive completion record today. What did brett do again?

I dont know why YOU - green bay "brett favre" fans - continue to act like chad is JP losman.

Lossman has a much better arm and is much more mobile than Chad.

Chad maybe could do what farve did this season because we got new players that helped this team more than farve.

    Ouchy,
Bring me up to speed. Are you unhappy to be 9-5 with Favre? I can understand Packer fans upset that they're 5-9 without Favre, but why are you unhappy as a Jets fan to be in control of the division with two games left.
I'm not disagreeing that Pennington is a very efficient quarterback. He is. And he can afford to be a conservative game manager when his defense is shutting the other team down. That TD today to Martin was a good throw but a great catch by Martin. Basically he climbed over the defender and took it away. Great effort!
In this game we put up 21 first half points. The second half was shaky with a couple of just missed opportunites. We need to convert those. Plus, don't discount the field position. Starting from your 2 on two separate occassions. Our special teams were giving them a short field all day. Favre is doing just fine. If we get there, (the Playoffs) I like our chances against any of the teams we'll play.
Now it's time to go to Seattle and take care of business.

I can bring you up to speed pretty easily. We are 9-5 in spite of Brett as much as because of him.

The Jets have what I would consider a slightly below average QB. I can live with that. I just cant live with the glory boy worship that is in denial that we have a slightly below average QB.

When was the last time Chad had the Jets any better than 9 & 5 even prior to his shoulder seperation with better D, better WR and a better running back?

Agreed that Favre is washed up but frankly outside of Vinny and Joe we are doing as well with Favre as we did with Chad and OBrien.

When did I give all the credit to Favre? Can you please show me that post? I just told you that Favre has not done well the past three games. But of course you just make random statements.

Do you give Favre any credit? I'm not going to say you don't because I don't monitor your posts like how you supposedly monitor mine.

You still have not addressed how the Dolphins D has given up 12 points in the past two games and our D gives up that much in a quarter.

We're 9-5. After being 4-12. But of course the additional 5 wins (with 2 on the way IMO) has nothing to do with change at the QB position? You do realize there is more to football than stats? You don't think mentally the team changes its mindset from going with a guy that never won anything with to a HOF QB. You don't think the other team changes its defenses, etc. with Favre at QB instead of Chad?

Oh yeah, and of course you will take those statements as saying "I'm giving Favre all the credit". He's made a difference, we're 9-5 after being 4-12, we're playing meaningful games in December, I'm happy with the QB position.

OBVIOUSLY there are other parts but both the Jets and Chad needed a change. Chad is better off without the Jets and the Jets are better off without Chad, why can't people understand that. We're 9-5, they're 9-5.

What is that even mean? In spite of him as much as because of him?

So are you giving him some credit or not?

Which games do you give him credit and which games did the Jets win despite Favre?

We never had a running game as good as we have now. Can we just put that to rest. I loved curtis but with our run blocking this year we are much better then...well maybe ever. ANd the dolphins offense is crap compaired to ours. They didn't even get a 100 combined rushing yards today.

2004 we had a better OL better running game and better WR and a much better D not even comparable and went 8 & 5 with Chad and 2 & 1 with Quincy Carter. We didn't break huge runs but we rarely got stuffed and Curtis had his best year in the NFL.

Where was our better WR and better RB two years ago?

When did Chad have a pass-catching TE like Keller? He would have been made to order for him. Chad has far worse skill personnel in Miami than he ever had here and he's still on pace to throw for over 3,500 yards.
