Reading this game thread, alot of you are a freaki joke. First it's "we're sharp today, we're sharp today,", then after a fluke pick it's "season's over," get a freakin grip.
And other good news... a journalist threw a pair of size 10 shoes at President Bush today... sadly no contact was made.
I wonder if an entire coaching staff has ever been fired after winning a game and being in First Place?
I actually disagree with the halftime show. Our problem is not the lack of pass rush. Our pass rush has been fine. B/c of Losman's running ability, we have containment defensive lineman responsibilities, hence, when the containment broke down, Losman ran it in for the score. The problem is the defensive players are not getting off the blocks and tackling very poorly. Also, it seems that Jenkins is very hurt and not playing well, or at least as well as we are used to.
The bipolar nature of Jet fans is a reflection of the bipolar nature of the Jets. With a 14-3 lead and everything going their way, only the Jets could find a way to F it up....and they did.
I don't know what was funnier, the fact that someone threw shoes at him, or the fact that they told us it was a size 10 pair
I wonder if anyone will throw their shoes at Mangini during the post-game press conference? I'm ready to throw mine at the TV set.
