Saints just punted from own 21 and Chicago starts from their own 9. Hester ran backwards and they got a penalty to boot. Not surprising considering the way Hester ran. He practically forced the return team to use illegal blocks.
Thursday, 12/11 Bears 27, Saints 24 (OT) Sunday, 12/14 1:00 Buccaneers at Falcons Packers at Jaguars 49ers at Dolphins Titans at Texans Seahawks at Rams Chargers at Chiefs Lions at Colts Redskins at Bengals 4:05 Vikings at Cardinals 4:15 Steelers at Ravens Patriots at Raiders Broncos at Panthers 8:15 Giants at Cowboys Monday, 12/15 Browns at Eagles Fox's #1 broadcasting team will be working the Vikings-Cardinals game. This is only the second showcase Sunday afternoon Cardinals game of the past 7 or 8 years at least. The other came earlier this year when the Cardinals hosted the Cowboys (still the best game of the year, in my opinion). The difference was that Joe Buck didn't work that game because he was doing the baseball playoffs. Dick Stockton substituted for Buck that day. On Sunday, it will be Buck, Troy Aikman, and Pam Oliver.
First Vikings at Cardinals game since Week 17 2003. Josh McCown threw a touchdown to Nate Poole in the final moments. The Cardinals won 18-17 and kept the Vikings from the playoffs.

With so many teams treating this week like the playoffs - this has become one exciting football season.
Tennessee obviously doesn't care much if they win if they throw that kind of low percentage pass on 4th-and-2 when they could have tried a 49-yard FG.
I'm on the Falcons bandwagon, I really like that team. Matt Ryan is already a stud and will only get better.
Steve Slaton with a couple great runs on the Houston possession following the incomplete pass to McCareins.
