No contest? In my book...this is a push. I never liked Henning, especially when he was with the Jets. Too conservative...predictable. I think they went to "The Wildcat" because their talent was so-so.
Favre has been in the league how long? I'm sure he has seen his share of changes in a playbook. He is also the son of a coach. He has played for different coaches as well. And according to the naysayers, Shottenheimer's Offense isn't very good or complicated so how hard is it to learn?
He has played in the same system most of his career. Chad changed systems 3-4 times as a Jet and Chad played in the system he currently plays in. It's a HUGE difference.
if pennington puts a dagger in us week 17 i will vomit all over my self and go on anti anxiety medication
Not sure I agree with that. That year was ours for the taking and Vinny and the Jets Blew it big time. I'm surprised you don't remember that , Its kind of like whats going on now. Plus the last game we blew it up on the Ravens (Eventual super bowl champs) , but they beat us with 6 first Downs. :shit:
But that matters not to junc because he only looks at stats on web sites. What I wonder is if chad goes say 14-29 189 yards 1 td and 3 ints and we still lose if all these chad lovers will still say "he stuck a fork in us" sad thing is they probably will
What's the point of this thread? Honestly? Why is there a need to drive a wedge between the Jets fanbase. Should I start a thread that says "IF FAVRE puts a dagger in the Dolphins in Week 17"... Will Chad lovers finally stfu?
Lol yes that's a great idea for a thread however "certain" people would still find a way to down the jets and praise chad
Classic Gang Green Fan thread title Only it would be more typical if you changed the "IF" to "WHEN Pennington puts a dagger in us..." I understand it, obviously, but I can see why outsiders (fans of any other team, except the Chiefs perhaps) treat us like a laughingstock. I wonder if any of the Jet players ever log in here for kicks. The pessimism is so overwhelming, the only thing you can do is laugh or cry.
Vinny was awful at Baltimore BUT if not for Vinny we wouldn't have been close to a playoff team. Remember we needed 3-4 miracle comebacks that year(not just the Miami game) and we always got off to slow starts then went hurry up w/ Vinny calling plays at the line and that's the only success we had as an offense.
