Mangini will not lose his job. He'll probably be extended knowing the endless patience this owner has for mediocrity.. If he could put up with Herm Edwards, he certainly can put up with Eric Mangini no matter how this season plays out. It also helps to be pals with the GM too...

The Favre vs. Pennington debate will rage on big time if that happens.

If that happens, I will be in a deep depression for atleast 2-3 months.

The premise of the OP's question is without foundation. It's a team game.

    Next.

Do you really think that is going to stop the argument?

That game will NOT be a team game. Pennington will have to play well to beat the Jets. And if he does, he should get the credit.

If we beat the Pats in the CCG, will Belichick loose his Job?

No, I don't. Chad Fans are a cancer in the Jet fanbase, and will be for some additional period of time.

But, it's like the scene in Apocalypse Now where Robert Duvall looks at Martin Sheen and says "You know, one day this war will be over."

    Says it all.

Or the Jets season could end with Chad winning, and Mangini looking at Sutton saying "...the horror....the horror...."

Do you ever actually address the question asked?

    Moose is gunning for me.

    Heh!

The image of Mangini as Colonel Kurtz is... disturbing.

Or, it could end with Mangini looking at Sutton and saying: "Pack up your shit and hit the bricks. If I see you around here in the next hour I'm gonna sit my fat ass on your face and smother you to death..." :)

But, Mangini is doing something Herm has never done - progress. He's getting better. He makes better decisions. Herm's teams have a way of getting worse every year, with little to no change from the previous year. Mangini couldn't make last year work, and this year he's got a shitload of new players. He's done a solid job. He's no VL but he's no Ray Handley either. The next 3 games will say a lot about Mangini's fate either way. He may not get the axe if the season goes down in flames, but if it does go down badly, then I would say next year is his last chance.

Haha, I can see Mangini on some shit-ass show like Dawson's Creek or something. The level-headed down to earth father that gives the soul-soothing heart-to-heart on teen pregnancy.

    Ugh...I wanna kill myself now.

yeah, that would be the first time, I?d actually be glad, that I have to watch most Jets games on my PC, because that would be too dangerous for my new TV.

The good thing is, that won?t happen.

It would be a cruel twist of irony. I would be pissed off to no end but it would not suprise me.
