This just in, after a devastating loss to the 49ers the Jets are going titty-bar hopping around the San Fran area. Good luck finding a titty bar in San Fran haha

If they are sad, then the season is lost.

These are professional athletes, they aren't a HS squad that gets down after the big game. Its called composure. I wouldn't want them down and depressed, angry is fine.

I don't think he wants them to be sad, he wants them to be pissed but supposedly they were pissed after the Oakland and Denver games and it didn't lead to inspired play so hopefull upbeat works.

Nobody's gonna get benched. Perhaps the punter will pay the price by getting himself punted but that's about it in the accountability catagory. Why not be happy. Hell, they'll get to cash another game check no matter if they win or lose out. Nothing ever changes in Jetland. Business as usual.. I would have made a stop in Vegas on the way back to NY.. :)

Remember the band still playing on as the titanic sank???

I don't know if I like "upbeat," but positive is fine. I don't think we can judge how they'll play based on that...

I'd rather hear about a bunch of pissed off, rabid players craving to get the bad taste out of there mouth.

I think they should be furious, angry, and they should display that fierce anger my making a team effort to stuff Mark Cannizzaro into a ball bag during press time.

If they had a coach with a pulse, you might see a reaction like that....

    Motivation Problem

It's obvious something is lacking in the locker room...The Jets have come out flat the last couple of weeks and our team just doesn't have the fire or intensity when we need it most. I am not ready to give up the season just yet.

So, what can we do as fans, to motivate this team? Since they are not getting it done on their own.

Any wild or crazy ideas out there to set this team on fire?

Don't get me wrong I like Mangini (just) but the guy IMO just doesn't seem passionate enough for me, maybe he rages like storm in the locker room, I don't know.
But I think he listens and is way too influenced by his coaches and tries to be too smart and a poor BB clone

After that Denver game, I'd just like to see how they would play with fans who show up.

There's something seriously wrong with a team that doesn't get down big time after a big loss.

In football, you have to have a short memory, but the rule usually is, grieve or celebrate the night of the game, and then get back to work on Monday.
