another injury for the pats http://bostonherald.com/sports/football/patriots/view.bg?articleid=1137776&format=text
yeah that was when he would get 3 carries a game behind curtis, and would usually break one off for a 40 yard gain. little did anyone know that the minute he got over 10 a game he would be injury plagued. he was a great talent too bad injuries never allowed his career to get going.
How come the Jets have had so few injuries over the last few years? Is it luck or is there a genius somewhere on the training staff? Maybe those rumors about 'roids making your muscles stronger but leaving your ligaments at the same level are true.
I heard in TC that there were conditioning studies done to reduce the amount of injuries and the body breaking down during the season. Thats why Mangini gave days off during TC, because the studies showed that it helped reduced injuries. This is one factor that he needs to be commended for.
what?? Hey I'm not a Mangini lover, but its nice to see that he did one thing that at least to my knowledge is innovating... shit, its the only thing he's done that is that way.
Thats a knee jerk response from the fan of an competing team, the truth is that the Jets have had remarkably few injuries over the last 3 years. The Pats have had more signficant injuries this year alone then the Jets have had over the last 3.
