6 am can't sleep, the jets ruined that chance. thing that i feel dissapointed me most this week is the comments Coles makes to San Fran papers. Let me stress Coles is one of my all time favorite Jets, before losing him to Washington he in my eyes was one of the best recieves we ever had (best hands for sure) well Coles shame on you. on you for putting your self gratification ahead of team, sorry you feel jilted for losing credit to brett favre. we bring in a hall of fame qb who beats ne and tenn back to back weeks completing 80% of his passes and leading two late amazing drives, sorry he got credit for that and not you. BOO HOO, he is also the guy with 30 mikes in his face yesterday taking the blame for the loss. while you seem to get a free pass. guess what two weeks in a row teams dared you to stretch the field prove your worth and you could not do it. look south lv, the miami turn around pennington is the guy on podium on nfl network getting credit,, i dont see porter. brown or williams moaning. you played small the last 2 weeks and then ran your mouth the most critical week of the season and in my opinion showed little or no effort yesterday. shame on you. Shame on you for letting us down and putting your feelings ahead of team, guess what we showered love on the whole team last week and the honestly most posts talked about TEAM and favre just being one of many reasons for the success not all of it, I guarantee he gets more heat thrown at him this week then he did praise two weeks ago. I thought i would never say this you will not be on the team next year, you will be gone, you are not productive anymore like you used to be and always banged up. I used to believe you were a guy who played hurt and put himself on the line now i question whether your not banged up more then anyone else but just lets us know about more then others. for two weeks in a row I have seen you at end of games having balls thrown your way and not even showing an ounce of extra effort to make the play, the effort you showed on the int yesterday was pathetic your the guy who held us up and gave us doubt that you would come to back to Jets when you were going to be out and out released by washington for guess what running your mouth. we had to trade Moss for you to assure we got you back, we could have both of you but you did not allow that to happen, guess what we got the bad end of trade as it looks now and just what we need now is what we gave up to get you. u told us then what type of guy you were but we were blinded and believed you were the guy who played with chip on shoulder and played mad and was a team guy. Well guess what shame on myself and shame on all of us who believed loved your heart. You spoke about yourself this week and not team in the most crucial time of year. I hope upon hope you guys look at this stuff and I hope you understand, you stunk it up yesterday,Brett stunk it up yesterday, different is he is guy who was hanging in pocket yesterday getting drilled fighting to end while you were guy who has morphed into a poor mans TO and gave no effort at end Coles if you wanted more air time, guess what i just wrote you a long winded blog that i hope gets some responses, so there you go we are talking about you and if its negative its your own fault. you will get your wish next year go play with chad in miami, you should like it there a town where if you win you get talked about and if you lose they dont care, you dont seem to care about it so good ridance

It was obvious it was out of context to anybody that can think for themselves. It's not just sports, the media does that with everything. But yes, most people do still insist on believing the media and never questioning anything. That being said, I personally have disliked Coles for years now. My criticisms of him are as a football player, I don't think he is as good as people think he is. And this year I don't think the effort is there either. Also in general I do think he talks too much. But he isn't as stupid as those articles earlier this week tried to make him out to be. Also, if most players are smart, they absolutely refuse to give any interviews to whoever did that to Coles comments. The NFL really should let players ignore certain members of the media, if it doesn't already let them do so.
