AMEN, my only fear is he might go be too high for us. Him and Harris with Jenkins in the middle, now that's a wall.

We should take a good look at Mark Sanchez if he declares for the Draft. USC runs a pro-style offense, and he has big time potential.

If we draft him, he can fight with Ratliff/Kellen for the starting QB job. There are absolutely enough offensive pieces on the Jets for a rookie QB to succeed.

And Spikes is the coverage ILB we need.

Love this guy. He will most likely make it to our pick because of the abundance of good ILB this year. The more I think about it though, we're probably gonna end up with Laurinitis. He's a mangini type player. Here's hoping that we somehow end up with Spikes.

...Harris has been injured once. There's no need to act like he's Chad Pennington.

Laurinitis is not good. The guy has 121 tackles this year, but 46 solo tackles! He's a pile jumper extraordinaire. He plays a lot like Vilma did: making tackles three and four yards upfield. He's not a dynamic player. Frankly, Barton is better than Laurinaitis. Let someone else scoop him up.

How can you knock Laurinaitis for making assisted tackles? That just means he's always around the ball. He's second in the Big 10 in total tackles.

JL isn't the best inside linebacker in this draft, but he certainly isn't bad.

...by the way 46 solo tackles is pretty good in college football, especially on a Ohio State defense that's very good.

46 solo tackles as opposed to 80 assisted tackles means he jumps the pile. I've watched him more than a dozen times over the past two seasons, and I don't see anything that tells me he will be an impact player at the next level. Against Penn State, he didn't make a single big tackle not in traffic. He's a smart guy, and should be a decent player, but not in any way worth a 1st round draft pick. I would hate to be the guy saying "toldja so" after we make the mistake.

Haven't we learned our lesson about drafting Ohio State linebackers (actually, I still like the Gholston pick. Give him time!)

Here's who I'd want, in order:
    S Taylor Mays-USC
    DE Tyson Jackson-LSU
    S Will Moore-Mizzou
    WR Jeremy Maclin-Mizzou
    WR Darius Heyward-Bey-Maryland

Huh? Gholston in college was a DE not a LB like Lauranitis

I'd take a super bowl over a first rounder.
