Wow why even have a contest if there's almost no chance of someone winning it? What are the odds that you make the first field goal you ever kick? Even Feeley misses 40 yarders...
well i think it's a little harder with 11 gorillas trying to crush you and/or block the kick... but still, you have a point, lol...
Wait - so not only can you have not touched a football in 5 years, you can't even use a kicking shoe, which real football players use? Oh, and a "normal" two step kick motion? What? I see many kickers take three, sometimes 4, depencing on the length of the kick. The clothing penalty is also BS. Like, what? None of htat has anything to do with kicking a ball.
$150,000? Now I hope you all believe me when I say what a cheap scumbag Johnson is. Everybody else's contest is for a million.
Shoes are not permitted to be worn during said kick, socks must be tube, not ankle. Blindfolds will also be given prior to the kick and must be worn in order to take part in the kick. Contestant will be spun in a circle (O) 10 times by former Jets kicker Doug Brien prior to kick and must be singing the Macarena chorus in Japanese translation perfectly (translator will be present to ensure authenticity of language) as the contestants foot hits the regulation size football.
They forgot to mention that if you DO make the kick, you'll also be interviewed for a starting Roster spot for next years team, lol. I really hope someone hits that, out of spite.
They'll prob pick some kid from make a wish "randomly" to kick it after awarding him tickets. Then I hope the kid makes it.
kinda difficult but if you can kick and you didn't play in high school or college then u can be eligible and it's def makeable
I really think Woody should add that the person kicking will have to take a breathalyzer...that way he ensures himself of 82,000 people being disqualified.
