Matt Stafford isn't going to pass up millions of dollars for a championship - Richt is already preparing for him to leave. He'll more than likely be a top 3 pick, just like Sam Bradford ala David Carr and Joey Harrington in 2002...except hopefully neither Bradford and Stafford will be huge busts.

Mark Sanchez is very raw, a lot like Tim Tebow...but teams will bite on their POTENTIAL. The fact that Sanchez plays in a Pro-Style offense helps him, but he still needs to work on his mechanics and his decision making. Tebow will never get out of that shotgun spread that Meyer runs at Florida. Both can be sit and wait QBs -- they have a lot to work on.

Colt McCoy will file for the draft, and if he's rated a first round talent, he'll come out too.

Nate Davis will most likely leave Ball State with all of their other weapons...they have virtually no shot at running the table again in 2009.

Senior QBs like Hunter Cantwell, Cullen Harper, and Tommy Brandstater all had let-down seasons, leaving Rhett Bomar the highest ranked senior QB. The underclassmen are MUCH better prospects, we'll just have to wait and see who comes out.

If you're a team looking for a QB - this is your year.

I think we should be targeting Sanchez. Not a big Tebow fan. I know he's physical, but it's unlikely that he'll run 10 times again against NFL linebackers.

Sanchez has huge potential IMO. We should try to draft him, then let him fight it out with Ratliff/Clemens in the pre-season.

Sanchez isnt coming out unless he has he chance to be a top 10 pick, with Bradford and Stafford in front of him its unlikely that he comes out since he isnt as hyped as the other 2

Mark Sanchez has to worry about Mitch Mustain and 2009 #1 prospect Matt Barkley...if Sanchez applies for the draft and is seen as a first rounder, I think he'll leave early.

Mustain nor Barkley are going to outplay Sanchez to dethrone him. I completely disagree.

As for your comments on Mays, that I 100% agree with. What provoked you to say that though?

Leinart did, so it wouldn't surpise me for Stafford to do the same, but I guess we will see

Matt Leinart basically played for an NFL team at USC - he was treated like a god in Los Angeles...that's mainly why he stayed.

Mustain could, he probably won't...but he could.

Sanchez was named the starter because of seniority. Carroll has said Mustain would've had minimum reps in some games this season, but he has failed to grasp their offense.

Those reps likely would have come in garbage time, and why would a QB that can barely grasp their offense take the starting position away from a QB that has a great grasp of the offense and is superiorly talented...

Mitch Mustain is one of the most talented QBs to enter college football in the past 10 years...

Mustain didn't have a good hold on their offense at the beginning of the season, because it was only his second year in the program after transferring from Arkansas. Sanchez is a great talent, and he knows the system...but he also cost them a chance to play in the national championship by making some awful throws against Oregon State.

Sanchez keeps the other teams in games by making horrible throws.
