Anyone take a look at what D Grahm and Sheffler did today? A combined 13 catches for 150. Royal beat us on that one play. Stokley clinched the game with his catch.

Marshall didn't beat us(thanks to Revis) but everyone else does. The Jets have got major secondary issues. Maybe it's the linebackers? I think the Jets may be to big up front. We don't have enough fast linebackers.

Or WRs or Slotbacks or pass-catching RBs/FBs

Because Revis is the only guy who can cover. What makes it worse is that Marshall is usually the only guy Cutler goes to and we did a pretty good job on him.

Although some of it is us, it is also a lot to do with them. They've been doing this well all year, and it was a nasty matchup for us and it was predictable it would hurt us. I tried to tell people on Tuesday, because it seemed like everyone was taking this game very lightly, when I posted this (emphasis added):

Maybe Stephon Marbury could play corner for us.

He's pretty quick, or at least he was the last time I saw him play in a basketball game.

What bothers me isn't that we can't stop the TE, its that we try to stop the TE. When you know in advance that your LBs are good pass rushers and poor in coverage you should stick to blitzing.

The Jets defense has a soft creamy core, and that core is the LBs in coverage. Teams have been taking advantage of that for a while. The fact that the secondary is bipolar (Revis on one side, Lowery/Law on the other, Rhodes on one side, Elam/Smith on the other) doesn't help matters.

We have been getting killed by TEs and RBs out of the backfield all year even when Harris was healthy.
