I saw bad execution on tons of plays. IMO this loss is on the players.

You dont fire a coach when the team is 8-4.........

If anything both Scottenheimer(Stop getting fucking cute on the 3rd and 1's and let Jones do his job) and Sutton(2 blown coverages is inexcusable in the secondary) should be in trouble.

Realistically, the most we'll get out of Woody Johnson this year is a fired coordinator. THE MOST.

I hope that's a joke, the team wasn't ready to play, that's on the coach.

I'm not saying he should be fired or anything, but the whole team was unprepared.

Wouldn't have hurt if the players could wrap up a ****ing fullback.

I don't think he should be fired, but that was a poorly called game today. To go for the wildcat trick play with that crappy weather was insane. I also hated the second half possession where we threw twice with just one yard to go and turned the ball over. The defensive coaching staff also sucked with their failure to try to get any pressure on Cutler.

The only reason to fire Mangini is because Jay Cutler should be our QB not Denvers.

I do remember passing on Cutler as well. Back then, I'm not sure what the reasoning was but, passing on Flacco is eerily similar.

Perhaps we won't continue to repeat mistakes.

Except we'd have to trade up for Flacco unless you wanted him at 6.

Still though Cutler wouldent have done much here considering our O-Line was stinko in the previous 2-3 years barring maybe 2006. He wouldent have a LT worth note(Unless we'd pick one up in the draft) as well with us so he'd be running for his life.

You're absolutely right. Cutler might have wound up like David Carr..

I really don't get that. The Jets are in line for the 3 seed in the playoffs right now. Are you saying that's underachieving, that they should be the 1 or 2 seed? It seems like your expectations are unreasonable.

Does this mean "The ManGenius" left the room again? Just wondering... Since I remember all this praise about how "The Mangenius is back!" a few days ago on this messsage board...

Jeez, it's one loss... Mangini is perfectly safe as of now.. We were definately due for one. It's a wake up call for this team. It's a shot back to reality.

Bob Sutton is a different story. I just don't agree at all with the defenses he calls. I and many other people thought he should have been gone after last year, but I think we need someone else in there.

Oh yeah, you have the #1 rusher in the AFC going against the #27 rush defense in the NFL and you allow a triple option, flea-flicking, whatever the hell that mess was that Cotchery fumbled on IN THE RAIN on your watch.

The #1 thing standing between the Jets and the Super Bowl right now is Eric Mangini. He's out of his league.

I love Mangini. The guy is smart as they come, and he uses his players well.

It's our Defensive Coordinator I'm not thrilled with

    Bumpity-Bump-Bump

This guy has no reason being a HC in the NFL. Only reason why he has this job was because he was Belichick's bitch/water boy.

I want Bill Cowher, Brian Billick, ANYONE THAT PROVES THEY CAN WIN
