It's games like the past 2 weeks that brought me back to become a believer. Admittedly, I didn't believe, after poor performances against the Raiders and Chiefs. I killed them...I wanted to fire the entire coaching staff, kill the playcalling, etc. I was begging for this moment to come...the moment when the Jets proved to all of us diehard fans that they are team we can believe in. My moment has come...GO JETS!
thats the thing that is amazing me Its weird seeing articles and watching Total Access and have them talking about how WE are the team to beat THE NEW YORK JETS!! Cannot believe it
where have you seen that?? because honestly, i've watched nfl network a lot today, and i believe most of them are still underrating us greatly. they seem to be making up excuses for TEN, even though we clearly DOMINATED them yesterday. they still think ten is the team to beat. i wonder if they even watched the game or just fed off the highlights
I haven't heard much of that at all. With a few exceptions, most of the talking heads are jumping on the bandwagon. The early line has the Jets -7.5 against Denver. A TD + is a lot of points. Cowherd was raving about them.
Im nervous. As a Jet fan you have to be cause god-forbid one key injury to one key player and everything gets unraveled. But hey if you can't enjoy the ride, get off the fucking bus. J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS
This is the moment I've been waiting for too! Screw the media and the commentators - let them say what they want - personally, I've never had so much faith in a Jets team before. I have to admit that I was one of the non-believers after the Raiders and the Chiefs games and things looked so discombobulated, but damn I'm eating my words now. I guess these guys all just needed some time to gel. If we're still being underestimated, let them sleep, all that can do is provide extra motivation at this point. These guys are legit!!! its been on espn all day, saying the jets are now the team to beat in the afc......weird. very weird, but I like it, lets kick denvers ass.
If the Jets keep their heads on straight the sky is the limit. The rush D is clicking. The running game is doing quite swell if ask me O-line is coming together good. Favre might actually be playing with in himself for the first time in his life not trying to force the issue to much. We have been waiting for a Jets team to do this good for awhile. I for one am going to enjoy this year and hope that I am watching this team win the final game of the year. GO! JETS!
Well, this moment of nirvana certainly did not last long. Shame on me for believing this team was something special. This loss brings all of us back down to earth (except TurkJetFan who thinks we can win it all every year) and shows us who they really are...SAME OL JETS
Wow, 5 straight wins.... then one loss and all of the Sudden the sky is falling... learn to think like a player or coach, you'll have less heart attacks.
i actually dont think we can win it all every year...i simply believe in this years teams ability....in 06 i didnt even think we would make the playoffs.... i simply attempt to illustrate points of this teams fans inconsistencies and ease of bailing...in fact your proving me to be totally right... but before you comment on my beliefs every year make sure your here every year to make accurate assesments
Today was not the same ol Jets. Bad weather, officiating (imo) and bullshit fake injuries killing momentum every series. And coming off back to back road wins against the Pats and Oilers...I'm still on the Jet bandwagon. Let's go to San Fran and play OUR game.
