I am asking this, since Broncos fans have put up some interesting argument:

Their tiny C (Wiegman) actually handled Shaun Rogers adequately when they played Browns - and their logic is that, if Wiegman could handle Shaun Rogers all right, he shouldn't have any problem handling Kris Jenkins.

I for one never thought of Shaun Rogers as the NT of Jenkins's calibre, but then he's also 350+ pounds heavy.

    Any thoughts?

Shaun Rogers is an astounding player. One of the best DT's in the league. But Kris Jenkins is even better (even if just slightly) and creating more of an impact on his team I think.

I've seen the Browns play a bunch of times this season and I didn't see Rogers dominate even one of those games the way Jenkins has time and time again for the Jets.

It's not even close. Rogers did not impress me the few times I've seen Cleveland. There hasn't been one Jets game this year where I haven't been impressed with Jenkins.

Who's the better nose tackle, mangini or jenkins. Mangini weighs 350+ so it must be a close call.

Our defense is alot better then the Browns defense and where in first in the AFC east the Browns suck and yeah Jenkins is better. An better for the Thirty Four Defense.

There's no denying his 53 tackles or 4.5 sacks though

Kris Jenkins is the best NT in the game this season. Wilfork is watching film on Jenkins.

No, but the 3-4 nose tackle is such an important position that they wouldn't allow 4.5 yards per carry. Perhaps that's unfair to Rogers, but Jenkins has always been a better player than Shaun, and I don't think that's changed.

I've seen some of the Browns games and Jenkins is a lot better than Rogers as a NT. When Rogers breaks through the line I've seen him completely miss the RB and then the RB goes for a large gain. When Jenkins breaks through the line the play is over for a loss.

Well considering Cleveland's run D is ranked 28th in the NFL and ours is 3rd, clearly Jenkins has had a bigger impact. Jenkins manhandled Mawae last week, I don't think he'll have problems with Weigmann or any other center for that matter.

Jenkins has completely transformed our D, while Cleveland's D continues to struggle. Jenkins clearly comes out ahead here.

Just look and see how the D collapsed when he was on the sidelines with a back injury... against San Diego, I believe. I know everyone will be screaming how Favre is the media darling MVP, but to me the MVP is clearly Big Jenk. The guy is just a beast... I watched the Titan game a few more times this week... he manhandled Mawae-- ragdolled him all over the field, the whole game. He also made a tackle on the far sideline on a run five yards down field... In a pure 3-4 scheme, the guy is the best nose I have ever seen.

Not even close! Jenkins plays with heart something rogers knows nothing about. Rogers is very overrated that is why DETROIT got rid of him. Lions coaching staff always complained about how out of shape he was all the time. Jenkins will handle his business come sunday afternoon against the broncos.

I agree Jenkins is hands-down better but Kris has had weight problems in the past as well so that point is null and void.

I predict Kris Jenkins tears Casey Weigman a new one on Sunday.

Yeah Jenkins missed alot of time due to injury in carolina and ballooned to almost 400 lbs but look at that man beast now. In shape and ready to kick some ass. Quote by Eric Mangini in training camp "He makes 360 look good".
