Superstition is a wonderful thing, isn't it? I actually do have a worry about this game. Their passing offense against our passing defense. I know the Broncs have had a decline in their passing game, but it is still capable of putting up points if there is no pass rush. I'm hoping to see a few more blitzes thrown in this week to try and force Cutler into some mistakes. With that said, I really don't expect much of a fight this Sunday. And, of course, that is another thing that worries me. As Death By Jets put it hilariously once, I expect these new Jets to rip off their mask and tell their soap opera wife "My name is really Same Old Jets!" Again, thanks to SoJ for that. I still laugh about that one.
i'm worried too. i bet the 'over'. i think the jets can score 45 all by themselves, but i'm counting on the broncs to kick at least one FG to help out. i'm worried. dam our defense.
If these really are a new version of the Jets, then Denver should be just another speedbump on the road to the playoffs.
If Royal is really out it will make for an interesting day. If Tony Scheffler were on my fantasy roster he'd be starting.
He requested this thread. Before the Pats game, I started a thread titled "The Pats game is scaring thee crap out of me", and then we went into their house and kicked their ass. So every week since, I have posted a thread like this, and we haven't lost yet.
This game is going to be very similar to the Arizona game... we need to jump out to an early lead so that the whole game doesn't look like the second half.
Boys this is the 2008 New York jets...this is different. I am all confident that we will find a way to pumble the Broncos. Last time we were home we were wondering if we could compete for a playoff spot now after the two biggest wins this team has had in 10 years on the road we are coming home to show the home crowd exactly how a true super bowl contender can play. Sunday will be a celebration and we are not going to let the Broncos stand in our way.
For the first time all season, I am NOT scared of the upcoming game. The Jets will win. Denver blows.
Ahh...got it. Well in that case post away. Here's one you'll need in about 2 months: "This Giants game is scaring the crap out of me"
supersituation is wonderful thing about sports. if a guy thinks hes playing well because he wears ladys' underwear then it is. If a guy has to listen to a certain song because the first time he did it made run the race of his life then always does listen to that song. truth be told Denver is an average team with a young talented core built around Cutler. Should be a 31-17 type game
Being scared is exciting. We are alive and playing meaningful games. After we crush Denver and go to 9-3, we'll be scared about flying out to SF with our 0-2 west coast record. Last year at this time we were dead and an embarrassment. Enjoy being scared.
