Broncos rookie WR Eddie Royal is battling a toe injury and is favoring it quite a bit. Looks like he is going to play, but probably won't be at 100%. i was very nervous about how he matches up with our defense, but i feel a little better about it now.
Law will stop him... Marshall is fucked with Revis on him. Rhodes adds help over the top on one of them. They will have no running game, so the Jets should tee off on Cutler all day.
I agree I think Law will do a good job coverin him while Revis shuts down Marshall, Lets hope Royal doesnt get a royal flush.
I think he was just OUT of practice on Wednesday. I haven't heard anything other than that, but if it's true our No. 2 matchup got a lot easier and will make it easier to roll the coverage towards Brandon Marshall
Royal may be getting worse, but Scheffler's getting better - and we haven't defended a TE yet this year, cough David Barrett cough.
Does anyone have an update on his status? Some say he is out for Sunday, but i haven't seen it on ESPN or anything
From Rotoworld: Royal is limited in return The Denver Post reports that receiver Eddie Royal was limited in his practice participation on Thursday after being listed as out on Wednesday. Officially, the team lists Royal as having a toe injury. "I'm not sure what we're calling it," he said, when asked if it was turf toe. But when asked which toe, he told reporters to "pick one." Our View: This could be interpreted as either bad (all of his toes are hurting) or good (the report is a smokescreen and he's not hurt at all).
I'd say his quickness is slightly limited on sunday and whoever is covering him has an easier time covering him...
