Let me start by saying that I'm not saying the Jets will go to the Super Bowl. Although I think they have as good a chance as any team in the AFC. But I think the point that you're missing is the Jets are playing alot better than they were in the beginning of the year. They have a bunch of new players, and it was going to take them some time to gel. If you remember last year, the Giants did not start off good at all, but they put it together and made a run. And thats what the Jets are doing right now. Thats why it cracks me up when I go on Pats boards and read about how they talk about how we lost to the Raiders, forgetting how they got whooped by the Dolphins. Yeah we lost to the Raiders, but the team is playing a whole lot better now.

This is so premature! Both teams need to pray for health and then win in the playoffs. The Giants could face a healthy, talented, and motivated Dallas team. They could also play an Arizona team that looked pretty good against them last Sunday. Finally there's the issue of the NFC South and the talent it has there. The Jets could find themselves playing a Titans team out for revenge. They could also see a very physical (and maybe healthy) Steelers team. Finally the Colts can't be discounted, Peyton Manning is damn good and that team is starting to get hot.

Can't we just let the season play out before we start making these predictions. Seriously, it's going to bring some bad karma.

    Yes, I see your point.

And 14,652 Canadian geese flew overhead this week. And it's been 14,652 days since we won the last Superbowl, so that's flying our way too.

Jesus, can we kill this thread please?

Reality is today the Giants are the best team in the NFC and besides the people who reside in Pittsburgh the Jets are arguably the best team in the AFC. Odds are neither of us make it, but today that's the facts Jack.

In my humble opinion I think we'll pull out a close one this week. Have another west coast clunker against Seattle (tough place to play) and lose either to Buffalo or Miami...finish 11-5. Division winner and #3 seed. But then again...what the hell do I know??

Not really. The WC picture for the afc is like, bunched up with 7-4 and 6-5 teams, pretty normal.

  12. lets not forget 86 when we were 10-1 and backed into the playoffs. one game at time guys.

We should be concentrating on the Broncos... too early to be thinking about the playoff. Continue winning will bring us to the big game.

I'd agree. We should concentrate on Broncos.

I'd rather appreciate it if the Media still disrespected us.

We're fans, it doesn't matter what we concentrate on.

Exactly. Why can't the fans just enjoy this? How often does this come around? It's the players and coaches that need to remain focused. Geez!!
