    TURNOVERS!!

That's right, we've got the talent and now we've got the confidence to beat every team we face for the rest of the regular season. The only thing I can see that would cause us to lose is turning the ball over against a team that can put up points quick.

We got lucky with the Titans in the sense that they don't have a high scoring offense so they weren't able to capitalize on our Turnovers. Luckily for us our team played so well in all 3 phases of the game that it didn't really matter. We can't expect that to happen each time.

Win the TO battle = win the game.

Meh. We were -2 against Tennessee.

The key is to stay aggressive... if you let teams hang around, they will eventually find a way to beat you. That's really the only thing that still scares me about the Jets every week, we have a tendency to let our opponents stay in the game.

Man, that is SOOO true. We've got to win the turnover battle each and every game.

You know Brett has a couple of bad INTs in his system. I would rather get them out of the way before the playoffs.

Yes but this is not unique to our situation. Any playoff caliber team loses their starting QB or best defensive player and they take a huge hit.

    I agree with this.

Injuries are more of a concern than turnovers. We turned the ball over a couple of times on Sunday...but our stout defense bailed out the offense.

But if we lose some of our key players....we're done...it's that simple.

    Bad coaching....

There are lots of things that could keep us from winning out. We will see what this team is made of now.

We seem to be working over-time at jinxing this season.

Trust me, over the last 40 years we have had enough bad karma. It is time to think positive. I know; it's tough. We have seen with disbelief what can and has happened.

It is time for the Jets to end it once and for all. It's time...................

Let's not talk about what could hurt us. I'm still recovering from 40 years of tragedy and don't want to do anything that might jinx the Jets.

I want to ride this wave as long as possible.

    Losing.

But fuck it, we're going to run the table, and not just 5 games, all 8.

    Absolutely!!

After 40 years of suffering with this team, this might be the best version of the Jets I've had the pleasure of watching since '81 and '98. And people wonder why I've been skeptical up until now...

The main problem the Jets face is themselves. How they will approach every game going forward. We have the talent in place to run the table but to do that, we gotta keep that killer instinct and never, ever let up.

The CS can't get complacent nor can they plan "scared" or the team will reflect that in their play.

To use a horseracing analogy: Now it's time for Mangini and the CS to go to the whip..

I thought we were -1? We fumbled and threw an INT and they fumbled, right?

I've been rewatching the video highlights from some of the earlier games, it seems to me that Favre's INT problem is all about deep sideline passes, he seems to close his eyes on them, like the one he threw to D. Hall in the Oakland game. I noticed that in the Tenn game they stuck to short passes, if they keep doing this Favre's INT numbers will be as low as Pennington's in Miami.

Hahaha! True, but I think the difference in the Tennessee game was that when he did throw those couple of long airballs down the sideline they were far enough off that nobody really had a chance at them. His best long balls seem to be those line drive lasers he is able to throw long down the middle - perfect for Keller.

Right, the only reason I think i feel somewhat unusually confident right now is because shit, isn't about time?
