This whole NY Super bowl talk and people saying the Giants and Jets are # 1 & 2 in the NFL is stupid. We are one loss from being a wild card team and the Giants pretty much have the division and # 1 seed wrapped up. We are in totally different situation then them. We have the Pats chasing us and we are in a dog fight that will come down to the last week. I can see the Pats beating the Steelers this weekend but of course I am rooting for the Steelers

I hate when the media does this! For weeks, they were saying that the Giants and Titans are the two favorites for the Super Bowl. Now, everyone is jumping on the JETS bandwagon. I can see the Giants, and If the Steelers offense was scoring then Pitt would be the sexy pick.

Your point about the Jets is acurate and well taken.

So to sum up: "Power Rankings are stupid."

Cool. Got it. BTW, he's dead, we're grateful.

Usually when this shit starts is when we drop a game we should win.

Can't argue the facts fellas, say it loud and proud, the New York Jets are the favorites to win the AFC and play in the SB.

Look closer, I got the same one.

You need to buy 4 club level season tickets. But that does give you the right to 2 SB tickets.

I think it's more a factor of how the team has been playing. They have consistently shown solid and sometimes dominant play in all phases of the game over the past 4 weeks against some solid competition as well as on the road.

The fact is that there may not be an AFC team playing better football than the Jets right now. That could change in a heartbeat, this is the NFL, but there's no reason to believe it will at this point.

What is the point of this thread? Why even think about it if it bothers you? Just ignore the media.

I'm really high on this team too and actually think we can win out. Too early to talk Super Bowl imo, but it's nice to be able to say it when the media acts up. Usually they just disrespect us, they still are, and they will again. So might as well enjoy this for now before it goes back to normal.

With 5 games left, so much can happen. There is a better than average chance that this year there will be a team with an 11-5 record on the outside looking in come playoff time.

The Jets need to remain focused on the game at hand and execute the blueprint we have established and dominate.

At least this year is exciting; I will say that. Sunday's win against the Titans was the most enjoyable domination by a Jets team when it really mattered in so many years.

If you have the cash you could buy the seasons and sell them individually to get that money back - maybe even make a profit.

I agree with that. The Colts very well might win out. The Titans look like they'll probably drop 2 more. We should be looking to win out, because otherwise it looks like there will be a 12 win wild card team. The Pats look like they can easily get 12 wins too, especially if they take down the Steelers this week, although I think they'll finish with 11.

That'd still leave the Ravens, a 7-4 team, out of the playoffs. They can easily finish with 10 wins and be out. They'll probably be pissed because someone will come out of the West, and it's very likely whoever gets out of there has less than 10 wins. That's also why Cutler isn't sweating it, a 2 game lead in your division with the team behind you 3 games under .500 doesn't exactly give you cause to worry. I doubt the Broncos think the Chargers will win more than 3 of their remaining games.

At $16K for the season tickets and $2K for the SB tickets I will take my chance on getting a couple on stub hub.

I know a few people with season tickets that can't always sell them and that is for lower priced tickets.

I hate future mention like this. The saying is your only as good as your last win is perfect for this moment. The patriots gained their notoriority by winning consistently and with a heavyweight like knockout blows that carried over to other games. The Jets have shocked all of us and the football world up to now and need to adopt this like attitude to truly hold sway over other teams . Example: The Oakland Raiders. Someone forgot to tell them they were playing the soon to be 2nd best team in the NFL. To barrow from the elderly gentleman in diapers "Just win baby"!
