Great game by the offense to keep our defense off the field so they were rested, and the defense to get off the field quickly

 

Our time of possession was utterly absurd and probably the biggest reason we won.

 

I don't remember any team racking up time of possession like this years Jet team is doing. They have to at least be setting a franchise record, if not a league record.

 

The most important thing we've been doing the last few weeks is punching the ball into the endzone on the first possesion. That sets both teams a-thinkin' right off the bat.

 

When you play madden, doesn't the other team have that much TOP and you have like 8 mins??

Its the other way around in real football.

Could this win be any more perfect.

No argument at all from me. Except that it'ws a bit of a circular argument -- the reason we had the big TOP edge was because the O and D were both playing so well ...

 

Early this season, I was concerned about the lack of "ball control" (7+ minute) drives. You cannot live on the quick strike all the time. It's nice to see that we are taking control of the line of scrimmage. The O-Line is starting to jell. Barring any injuries, if we keep playing the way we are, we should go deep into the play-offs. :beer:
