Heading to the locker room, it's 10-3 Jets. Alright, here it goes. We are playing great on the defensive side of the ball, although we are getting a lot of help from the incomplete passes by the Titans receivers. Our offense started off great, then it died down a bit. We have to step it up on the offensive side of the ball if we plan on winning this game. It starts when we get the ball back to start the 3rd quarter. Overall, I'm pleased with the way we are playing to this point. It has to continue though.
Haynesworth is acting. Tenn. Does this constantly. Thats 2 for fat albert, and one for the wideout. I'll admit I'm wrong if the doesnt come back out in the second half.
yeah, i would have a hard time believing that he didn't suffer a concussion on that play. I was worried his neck might have been sprained or even broken for a second there. It was great to see him get up.
I just donl't like that we had a stoppage. 2 to's and were already close to the 40 yd line with Haynesworth out. Get a 3 there!
Great, but ... enough? will it hold? Jets are looking great almost as good as you could hope (except for the fumbee and INT, of course). Favre coudl do no wrong entire first Q. D is stellar. But I'm nervous, this is not a very comfortable lead. Titans are notorious for being in great shape, and finishing strong in the second half, particularly the 4th. Whereas we seem to have issues with the D getting tired. I'm not sure this lead can hold unless we take the ball all the way down the field after the 2nd half kickoff.
It would be a nice change if we could make some good adjustments at half time, instead of coming out conservative on offense and with the prevent defense.

We've definitely kept them in a game that shouldn't be this close, but hey were up 10-3 at the half over a 10-0 team. I'll take it. Now we get ball at half, go right down and put a dagger in the heart of the titans defense with a TD.
Bullshit. Even with turnover, no call on the low hit on favre, drive extender... No call on the facemask by Fat Albert, jets are one pass from three more. Tenn wideout plays hurt, no charge, they extend drive. On the Scaife play, no review upstairs, even though he's down by contact, then the push ofef which puts them out of FG range... This game is only close through officiating. And I predicted this three days ago.
Remember, the Jets had an extra 4 days off and the Titans played a very physical game in Jacksonville on Sunday. Could be a factor.
