This is the best line. Seriously though, I wasn't a huge Romo fan at first, but he's really grown on me, on the field and off. He plays like Favre (the improvisation, the risk taking, and how much fun he looks to be having) who is my all time favorite QB, and he seems like a genuinely likable guy. Off the field he's going around changing people's tires and taking homeless guys to the movies. It's great stuff.
Role Models is probably the funniest movie I've seen this year. If I was homeless I think I'd rather watch a comedy than a drama...
All kidding aside though, that's a feel-good story.. It's nice to see guys in the NFL doing things like that. That earns him a lot of respect in my book..
Feel-good? He bought the guy a $13 movie ticket and allowed the smelly bum to sit near him. Feel good would have been Romo taking the guy to the nearest salon, getting the nasty, mite-infested beard removed, allowing the guy to purchase a $2,000 Armani suit, taking him to lunch at Ivy, driving around for a few hours in his Ferrari convertible and then wrapping up the night banging supermodels at a Playboy Mansion party. Which makes you "feel-gooder?"
Talk about pro-Cowboys media bias. Romo encourages some guy not to show up for work which probably got him fired and Romo gets praised for it. WTF.
Ahh good old PR, where would we be without you? Isn't it ironic that this story comes out just hours around the news that pacman gets reinstated?
