http://www.the506.com/nflmaps/2008-12-CBS.html Why they are showing the Oak @ Den game anywhere east of the Mississippi I have no idea. I'll have two game available in my house. I still want to go to "No Idea" to see the game. The Jets have won every time I've gone.
Looks like we're the big game on CBS, unfortunately that means we have to listen to Phil Simms for 3 hours. As for Oak @ Deb, it's the only 4:00 game CBS has.
Guess I didn't pay close enough attention to notice that that was the late game. I guess that means those area don't show an early game? That seems strange.
The east coast areas that are getting the late CBS game are Philly, Baltimore, Tampa and Jacksonville. All the home teams in those cities are on FOX at 1 PM. CBS has only one game this week and CBS in those cities would rather not go up against the Eagles, Bucs, Jags and Ravens. Looking closely at the map, it appears Washington DC will be getting the Jets game. Do you live close enough where you get the DC CBS affiliate?
DC isn't getting the late game. It is B'more and north. They didn't have the FOX maps up when I posted and I'm not paying enough attention to the purple bird's schedule. I could get the game at home, but I'm enjoying being with other fans. Having no voice on Monday is becoming a tradition with all the J E T S chants.
Do they have this type of map for radio? I have to travel from NY to Tampa and then Fort Myers Florida on Sunday to visit a sick family member. I was hoping to catch the game on TV. If not, I'll try to search it out on radio. Failing that, I may need to abandon my family for a sports bar.
Ha it is actually going to be shown in Austin TX really amazing with those poweful Texans right down the road
Actually does not matter since I am DirecTV subscriber. I will be watching the Mia/Pat game on my other TV & DirecTV receiver
Well, I don't have the cash for all that, having lost a bundle taking some fool on a message board's stock recommendations.
The Jets/Titans will be in here in MD. I have the digital cable and looked ahead to Sunday and they were listed as the 1pm game. That map is strange since it shows most of MD getting only the 4pm game.
It is the way they draw the coverage of the baltimore station vs the DC station. We are lucky enough to be in the middle zone where the cable companies are allowed (required?) to provide both. However, 'officially' our part of Maryland is in the Baltimore market so it is shown with the coloring of the Baltimore station. This caught me in one of the early weeks this year. Sometimes it is nice to be in a mixed market. p.s. You should go into B'more, the crowd is fun at 'No Idea.'
This sucks. Now I am going to have to leave the wife and kids at home and go to the bar and drink massive quantities of beer while watching football.
