I dont know wat ta tell u i mean football is by far my favorite sport although it was basketball growing up.Im a fan of the jets,knicks and nets(dont ask why),yankees and miami hurricanes.But out of all these team if i had to choose only one to root for only it would be the jets. Wen the jets played on thursday i sped from work just to watch the last quarter of football, and felt sick watching that last drive wen moss scored and just minutes later felt relieved and happy as hell wen jay feely made the fg. I mean i guess it depends on how old u were wen u first startin rooting for them
There is nothing any of us can tell you that can make you be excited for a team. If you read this thread http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=38293 or http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=38290 and you dont get excited for the Jets and their possible emergence than what can we do? All I know is that I am still excited over the win last week and now and even more exited for next week as we have the possibility to prove ourselves yet again and take down the undefeated AFC leading Titans. Quite frankly I would expect talk like this from the old timers with all their scars from losing for so many years (darksiders) but not a young fan, maybe your just not meant to be a Jets fan.
all i can say is your just not a diehard fan, your a casual fan. there is nothing wrong with that. its just as a casual fan you wont get as upset about the bad or as excited about the good.

You might have been flipping back and forth with Project Runway during the Jets game. I understand, it is hard to watch both at the same time.
It may just be that you don't really love football or the Jets. Nothing wrong with that - there are lost of other things to be passionate about in life - but there's just no way a genuine fan could have watched the Pats coming back and not have felt like their heart was being ripped out. Again, there's nothing wrong with not being a Jets fan. The vast majority of mankind are not Jets fans. I do, however, wonder why you're so bothered. You need to get laid. You are 16 and a virgin so of course you have other things on your mind. Once you get laid you will realize that you can watch football and still get laid. Better yet, try and get laid while watching football. This will get you excited about The Jets again.

yeah, that's exactly what it was. There may have been a little before that but the crux of it was that he's having a hard time getting excited about the Jets right now, despite considering himself a Jets fan.
