Darksiders are experts of double speak. For example, they say we can't call the Jets a contender because we have to wait till the end of the year. Yet, they proclaimed the Jets dead after they started 1 and 2 and then doubly dead when we lost to Oakland. What hypocrisy! We're 7 and 3 and a top contender. Deal with it!

Honestly, Mods- you have GOT to ban this guy. He opened a thread today exclusively to "call out" darksiders that went on for three pages. And now this one. This is trolling at its purest. Ban him, please.

Yeah, a ban is a bit much - but a merge would tidy things up a bit! And 1969 - you have to know that the darksiders are just waiting their chance. They only have to get one defeat, one playoff loss, to be proved right in their own minds. Unless the Jets win the Super Bowl, the darksiders will have the last say this season, as in all the others bar one. It's just a fact of life as a Jets fan - they are incapable of enjoying Jets football.
I agree, just because someone wants to discuss something that you're sick of discussing doesn't mean he should be BANNED. Every thread turns into a debate to some aspect. That's mostly what this or any forum is about. You don't have to respond to a thread if you don't like it. I have no problem with merging like threads, but what's the point. The old threads fall of the screen after a day or two anyways. There's plenty to choose from on here. If you don't want to talk about this then don't open this thread. I just don't want to see this site turn into Packershome.com. Where everybody up there share the same view and anyone who questions the General Manager (Ted Thompson) or the Head Coach (Mike McCarthy) instantly gets their post shut down, deleted, or if you're lucky you'll just get moved to the Brett section. Which is the section for anyone who is a "Brett Lover". Let's never go there.
The solution is easy. Just merge all of 1969jets threads and posts with Champion69's threads and posts. let them go at it for a few days. That's Message Board magic right there.
It would be nice if 1969Jets started a thread that didn't include the word "Darksider" in any way, shape or form. He's turning this into some kind of vendetta and its getting old really, really, fast. I don't advocate a banning, but he should realize that he's becoming pretty one dimensional in his topic and overall theme.. 1969Jets, I have one word of advice for you to take or leave.... DIVERSIFY

I hate the darksider-sunshiner nonsense. It happens every time we have a good time. We ARE a contender, contender status doesn't mean you will win a SB it means you are one of the better teams in your conf and have a CHANCE. We were legit contenders in '98, '02 and '04 even though we didn't win it all. We are legit contenders this year, we currently hold the 2 seed.
First of all you are not paying attention because I have stated on MANY occasions that I have no issue with valid criticism of the Jets. It's the idiotic statements that have no validity and are proven later to be false that I take issue with. Secondly, why don't you just tell everyone that you are a lady and not a man. There is nothing wrong with that, just not being honest letting everyone think you're a guy!
