Most writers gave the Jets a ton of credit yesterday. So did the people on the sports shows, especially ESPN. There will always be a few that just can't get their hatred of the Jets out of their work. I was actually surprised at how many wrote good articles about the Jets.
Didn't the "Real" New England Patriots go 18-0 before CHOKING Like they do and losing to the G-Men? They were bound to fall apart this season anyway and fuck that they were still 6-3 and atop the AFC East "Without" Brady so this guy's a classic nuthugger. Great Win maybe Brady wasn't there but he's not invincible (06 he got his ass beat).
Get over it dude. The Jets ARE NOT ELITE. Elite teams dont have the 27th ranked pass defense in the NFL. Elite teams don't let a teams backup QB, DE, HB, safety and LB get back in the game after being up 24-6. If you really think the Jets are legit Bowl contenders your are out of your mind.
Bingo! It was simply a game for first place in the division. Whether we have officially "slayed the beast" or whatever other metaphor people want to put on it is irrelevant. If we hold onto this lead we win the division and possibly get a first-round bye. That's really all that matters.
your looking at passing stats against as a legit stat??? warner threw for almost 500 yards against us down 34-0 at the half.. you dont think those stats are a little misleading?????
